Services
Dr. Toomey is a sole practitioner so you will always receive treatment by only one chiropractor. Dr. Toomey gets to know his patients needs and expectations and will provide you with a reasonable course of care. We strive to educate our patients to take a more active role in restoring and maintaining their health.
If you have low back pain we can help. Dr. Toomey utilizes a variety of techniques to help alleviate your pain and get you back to your activities as soon as possible. One such technique is flexion-distraction and decompression of the spine. It helps to increase intervertebral disc height and essentially re-align the spine by restoring joints to their proper physiological relationships of motion.
We treat a variety of sports injuries from acute to chronic conditions and can also provide training techniques which may aid in the prevention of over-use injuries. We utilize manipulations, modalities (ie: ultrasound, electric stimulation, myofasical release) and strength training not only to alleviate the symptoms but to rehabilitate the cause of the injury.

Had a chronic back issue that kept reoccurring every few months over the past 2 years. Dr. Toomey had it diagnosed on the first visit (facet joint) after my PCP could only guess and take x-rays and tell me it was early arthritis (I'm 57). Within 2 visits I was feeling about 80%, and 2 more I was at 99%. I have exercises now that target the area that will help minimize the my chances of reoccurring. Would recommend him HIGHLY!

I saw Dr. Toomey (Geo) shortly after my son was born and I was struggling with residual back and hip pain. He not only helped adjust my back but he also helped me rehab the SI joint that was causing most of my pain. He gave me exercises to rebuild my strength and also suggestions to help with comfort and functionality. Geo is kind and easy to talk to and genuinely takes an interest in his patient's lives and well being. My husband sees him and I would not hesitate to take my young son if he ever has issues. I plan on seeing him during my second pregnancy to manage any discomfort.
