So let's cut to the chase: I want to make this as easy as possible for you. Normally I'm the one taking photos of everything. Sometimes we get busy and forget though. With Leigh Ann, I get to be present for the moments with my son and really experience the adventure and journey of it through seeing the moments she captures.

Services
Photographing families lets me continue to work with my favorite people group: kids. It's always been kids for me. I love being around them, watching them think and create and be so curious about the world. I wish I could put into words how they make me feel, but I don't think I need to. You see the world through your kids' eyes-no judgement, no pretense, just authentic observations and raw emotions.
Reach out to me and we'll chat about what kind of session you're looking for, when it can happen, and where we can photograph to get images that are the most "you." We'll sign a contract, pay your deposit, and get to planning. After you're booked I will send you a questionnaire to get to know you and your family better.
And there is certainly truth in all of that. But there's also truth in the fact that it's hard to cherish the moments when the baby hasn't slept through the night in a week (or more!). It's hard to remember to write things down or take photos or make memories when you're juggling work, being a mom, and running a household.

I tell everyone about working with Leigh Ann by first telling them about her intake form. It's an incredibly detailed form that asks about what you're worried about, what your children's personalities are like, and the question that hit home most for me: what about this point in time do you want to capture? It got me thinking about the special relationship I'm developing with my twins, particularly since this was our first photoshoot just the three of us post-divorce. The fact that Leigh Ann asks such thoughtful questions made me know she gets it. These are more than just family

This photo shoot was long overdue, 9 years overdue to be exact. We were so blessed to have found Leigh Ann!!!

I couldn't believe how easy and comfortable she made us all feel. It was just like walking in the park with a family member we haven't seen in years. Leigh Ann knew how to use her camera to capture the best in all 7 of us, our dog included! The session was all of 2 hours and she gave us memories that will last a lifetime!

We LOVED working with Leigh Ann! We hired Leigh Ann for a maternity photo shoot, and because we loved the results, followed up with a newborn shoot just a few months later. Leigh Ann made both sessions super-easy -- everything from the scheduling and the location to the actual shoot were very easy. We were wondering if the newborn shoot would be a disaster with crying/sleeping/feeding, but our daughter loved Leigh Ann and was able to be awake and smile through much of the shoot. Leigh Ann gave us the space we needed to let her feed and nap during the session as well.

Leigh Ann is super easy to work with. She was engaged from the very beginning, asked questions and tried to learn about our family dynamic and interests to understand what kind of pictures we were looking for. She met us in person for a casual chat about our expectations and scouted/suggested places for the photo shoot to make sure the we'd be happy with the locations. She also offered us helpful feedback on the outfits we were planning on wearing. The day of the shooting, in the morning the weather was cloudy and it was drizzling. We booked Leigh Ann for a newborn session with our family of 4. She remembered the shots I wanted and did her best to make them all happen. She was patient and fun with my 2-year old, which made the experience much less stressful. And she was very responsive and made sure we liked our final photos! Would recommend.

I am glad that we booked a family photo with Leigh Ann. She came a little early and made sure my kids feel comfortable!
We felt really relaxed while she was with us and both my 6 months old and 5 year old kept smiling at her camera.
We are happy with the photos we got. They all look very natural and tell our stories.

Leigh Ann makes our awkward-in-front-of-the-camera family very comfortable and her photos are just beautiful. I love the candid shots and sweet moments she captures. After newborn photos, we rebooked for one year photos and each time have been blown away by the quality and priceless photos she's taken. It is wonderful to have found "our family photographer" and I highly recommend Leigh Ann!

I found Leigh Ann's website from an ad on Facebook, I saw that she was local to me, I liked her style of photos and I emailed her a request for more information and availability. She offered fair pricing and a date that was perfect for our schedule. I had no idea what to expect when she arrived. She is so charming, positive, engaged my older child right away, passionate, and made us all feel relaxed. We got so many amazing photos, it's hard to pick which ones to frame! Her communication has been excellent and easy. You can tell she really loves what she is doing and it shows in the photos

We had a wonderful experience taking family photos for our holiday card. Leann did a great job making it easy and fun for our 4 year old. Our 3 month old was a bit fussy but Leann was very patient and caught some of his sweet smiles. Thank you Leann for capturing these images that we will cherish throughout the years.

Leigh Ann was AMAZING!!! She felt like a family friend from the beginning because she is so warm and kind. My three year old warmed up to her in about 2 minutes. She is great with kids and knows what to do to get amazing shots. She is patient and can turn any situation into a beautiful photo. She was very professional as well with great communication. She was flexible with our last minute date change. The whole process was stress free. She also sent a little gift in the mail which was such a nice and sweet touch. The pictures were done very quickly and they all look amazing. I highly recommend

Leigh Ann was wonderful during, after, and in the process leading up to photographing our big day. I called Leigh Ann to see if she could help capture the moment that I proposed to my girlfriend at a winery in Napa. She went above and beyond in coordinating with me as well as with the winery, which involved heading to the winery before the big moment to scout out the location and setting up for the big moment. She took absolutely beautiful photos and was very professional and kind during the session. She was even able to get us our photos ready for viewing the same day. I would totally recommend

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Leigh Ann did such an AMAZING job. We had a large group with six children ranging from 12 years old all the way down to 1. She was so patient with all of us and we loved her different ideas. All of our photos were ready to view very quickly afterwards & were beautiful. Highly recommended.
