Dr. Poria Edalat completed his undergraduate degree receiving his bachelors degree in biology at the California state university Northridge, where he graduated summa cum laude. He received his dental degree (DDS) from the University of Souther California (USC). Dr. Edalat is practicing in Los Angeles and is an active member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.

Dr. Edalat was awesome with my sons yearly clean up and as well with his first cavaties being taken out. For many parents you just don't know how your kid will react with the dentist or even a doctor. My so felt so comfortable with Dr. Edalat that he let himself getting those cavities taken care of.

He is such a kind hearted person and it really shows in the care he provides to his patients. His assistants, Lilly and the girls, are also great. Update..6months prior to walking away from this practice they provided me a crown. Yesterday I had screaming pain and went for an emergency root canal through the crown they provided approx 1 year ago. It was completly rotten beneath their crown and this didnt show up on any xrays. I have had this decay concealed (by them) resulting in an infection for who knows how long. I now need to go back to a good dentist and have the crown replaced. Avoid the pain and expense of double work by staying away from this practice. Good luck!

I just became a patient of Dr. Edalat. I've had the best experience from day one. I hadn't been to see a dentist in almost 30 years because of prior bad experiences. But when I recently broke a tooth and was in severe pain, I had to find a dentist. He and his staff made me feel so welcomed and relaxed. Receptionist was very nice, but I waited a little over an hour just to get called up. I've never had to wait that long and I had just gotten off work so I was about to pass out from the hunger. The vibe as soon as you sit down is that they're trying to scam you into as many things as possible. I walked out of there terrified and immediately started comparing prices. Not long after I found places that were significantly cheaper. Please do not be fooled by the 5 star rating like I was.

I found this center through my dental insurance. From day one i have been so happy with the level of service and professionalism this dentist office has! Super friendly staff!! They actually listen to what your problems are and advise proper procedures to take care of what is wrong, and the best part THEY DO NOT PRESSURE YOU! I knew what i had and they confirmed it without them knowing i knew what was wrong. I did appreciate they listen to my finance and they really worked with me! I will recommend this place to everyone!

Worst Dentist ever! My husband recently got new insurance and I found this Dentist from Yelp reviews, but now after experiencing this place with my family I truly believe they have friends and family write there reviews for them, I'll write a TRUE review. My old Dentist retired and have really never found a good replacement.
I have a crown that was to big the bite was long. I notified my old Dentist about this being he installed this crown. He informed me that he can shave down the crown, that didn't work now he wanted to shave down my real tooth under it. I told him the deal was to keep my real teeth! Wth?
Dr Edalats office was close and really friendly. I told him what's going on and they recommended a new Zorconium crown.
Price for the crown was good, and

I came to this dentist based on the 5-star review from Yelp. I hate to be the one to give the negative review, but everyone has different experiences and mine was not a good one, AT ALL. I also selected this office based on their extended hours. I checked in at 5:20 for my 5:30 appt. and didn't get called back until 7:00p.m which is the time they close their office. An hour and a half wait!!! Not acceptable. And no one bothered to tell me that they were busy, sorry for the wait. Nothing.

This dental office is absolutely amazing with all the new state-of-the-art equipment including very friendly staff and reasonable prices on everything and sometimes when it comes to dental work it's not always about the price it's about who's doing the work because it's a permanent decision you have to make for work that's being done in your mouth. Not only do I go here but now my wife does and a few of my friends, thank you guys very much for all the work you guys do and all the work you still have to do for me.

He fixed my tooth with no pain and took pictures before and after to show me what exactly he did. He also explained everything he did and told me how to take a better care of my teeth.
There was absolutely no wait between the time I walked in, filled out paperwork, did my X-rays and got my tooth fixed.
