Getting a new kitten is a very special experience with lots of joy, warmth and laughter. There is a reason why the internet is so full of kitten and cat pictures and videos. Kittens are super fun, loving and entertaining. Kitten care does involve some amount of hands-on attention from human family members.
If you have lived with your cat since it was young then you have a good understanding of what is normal for your cat in the way of behavior and habits. Any changes in their behavior or habits can be a sign of illness. Because signs of illness in cats can be so subtle, even the most astute owner may miss some of these changes especially when the onset is so gradual.

During when COVID was really bad animal hospital in Champaign deemed our spike was not sick enough for them to accept. Dr Williams took spike home with her and to work in order to give him 24 hour care. I was not charged extra for this service only for fluids and other help. I have been able to text her private cell phone with concerns about my cats. She and staff are always loving and gentle with cats. Shout out of much thanks to Donna for all she does for my cats and soothing my worries. I would never think of going elsewhere.

Take it from someone who has worked under this “doctor”, don’t bring your pets here. She was verbally abusive to all the staff when I worked there, and all I have heard lately is how she will now lay hands on whoever she wants. Not to mention the sub-par animal care. She will talk clients into doing unnecessary testing for their perfectly healthy pets just to add a little extra cash into her pocket. I would love nothing more than to see this woman’s license to practice revoked.

This practice is my number one go to for all of my animals. I was introduced to her practice by the forever home feline ranch as I am one of their foster moms. She is kind, caring, and gentle with all of my cats. The way she talks to them and makes them feel safe means a lot to me. She takes the time to explain everything during the exam and the treatment plan, and even makes sure to personally reach out to me to check up on my cats. There has also been times here and there where someone was sick and needed to be seen and she worked with me on my payments. I know several other people she has helped

Our puppy had an urgent health matter and our normal vet wouldn’t be able to see us until Monday. The staff at Springfield Animal Hospital was able to squeeze him in immediately and were absolutely wonderful in treating him. You can tell the doctor absolutely loves animals in the way she cared for him. It was also way less expensive than what I expected for the visit, testing, and medications we received. Thank you for helping our puppy.

Very courteous staff (except for the one that said, "She's in a Wheelchair." Like that had anything to do with me taking my Kitten in to see the Vet! Anyways, the Vet and her Assistant were very polite and caring towards my little Sophie. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Williams and her staff are beyond great. They treated my dog for cancer, and her prices were very reasonable. Dr. Williams was always willing to work together to find the best treatments available while considering the well being of my pet. Donna is wonderful with the animals as well. They truly care for their patients, and I highly recommend them.
