Preventative medicine is important when our horses are young, but as our horses age, and become prone to certain disease processes, annual exams and blood work become even more important. Annual exams and simple blood work to check liver and kidney values, along with thyroid function have the potential to alert us to early changes that may give us important information about your horse's health.

Digital radiography (X-Ray) has revolutionized Equine Medicine. Now we are able to quickly and easily diagnose potential causes of lameness and bone abnormalities with less stress your your horse. Digital radiography allows us to view the images immediately and to retake images or to take additional views quickly if needed.

Dr. Ramey and his staff are absolutely amazing. I recommend them to all my friends. They’re fantastic with my pittie. I have been to other vets and I appreciate I pretty much have zero wait time, and he takes his time and does such a thorough exam on my dog. Doctors been seeing my puppy in charge in for office visits telling me he wanted it to gain some pounds if it got any worse bring it in it would need surgery so I brought it in they made My Wife wait for sometime then they wouldn’t even look at the dog they were too busy and now I’m trying to hurry and find a bed to do a surgery I was already quoted on and probably going to pay twice as much Just to save my dogs life I’m very sad because this guy came off as professional and caring of animals I would’ve even paid extra for him to put her at the front of his list but obviously there’s

I had been using Charter for a about 2 years and loved his office and loved how straight forward he was about anything that was going on with my horses. I had a taken a horse to have a back jock looked at that was a touch swollen. Charter put a steroid in it and said that with a few days off she should be fine. A had a potential buyer for the horse a month later and recommended a vet check to have the hock looked at again to make sure she was still sound (the horse is sound). When meeting the buyers at the vet I was unaware they were very good friends which is not a problem. Charter X-rayed the

I took my black lab into Charter for a routine vaccine, nail cutting, and an ear issue my dog had going on. With all this COVID mess going on, the staff was extremely professional, safe, and spot-on service with me and my dog. I will definitely be a happy animal owner with Charter on my side.
