Restorative dentistry encloses the branches of prosthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics. This procedure refers to the process of diagnosing and treating diseases and/or decay of the teeth and gums. Ideally, dentistry is preventive, and regular office visits at Little Ferry Family Dentist would help to stave off any oral disease.
However, the truth is that many adults require restorative dentistry treatments at some point of their life, in the form of gum disease treatment, root canal therapy, or dental prosthetics. In case of missing tooth, restorative dentistry provides several options for dental replacements.

Periodontal Disease - Periodontal disease can affect and permanently damage the jaw bone that supports the teeth. Affected areas progressively worsen until the teeth become unstable. Tooth Extraction - Studies have shown that patients who have experienced a tooth extraction subsequently lose 40-60% of the bone surrounding the extraction site during the following three years.
The process of getting implants requires a number of visits over FEW months. X-rays and impressions (molds) are taken of the jaw and teeth to determine bone, gum tissue, and spacing available for an implant. While the area is numb, the implant will be surgically placed into the bone and allowed to heal and integrate itself onto the bone for up to six months.
Damage to nearby teeth: Second molars (the teeth directly in front of the wisdom teeth) can be adversely affected by impacted wisdom teeth, resulting in tooth decay (cavities), periodontal disease (gum disease) and possible bone loss. Disease: Although uncommon, cysts and tumors can occur in the areas surrounding impacted wisdom teeth.

Dr Sachar’s and his employees are very pleasant and his office is extremely clean and sanitized. I feel very comfortable in his care. Also I had a last minute need to go to the dentists before I left for my vacation and Dr. Sachar was accommodating. I would like to thank him and wish all a Happy and Healthy New Year!

I’ve been a new patient of Dr , Sachar Bhupinder for a short time. I have to say the reviews are 100 percent spot on. Glade I’ve went and have no regrets. Dr is very caring and knows exactly what needs to be done and explains everything so well to u. He found mistakes my previous dentist did not tell me that I needed to have done. I would definitely recommend Quility dental for all your needs. He’s my new permanent Dr now. And it’s almost painless of whatever work you may need to have done. And his staff are very welcoming and helpful any concerns u have there there to help u with anything
