I needed to find a new dentist when I moved to New Orleans that takes Delta Dental. I tried Dr. Colby Terry at this office, and he does a very thorough job. He found that my previous dentist wanted me to fill two teeth that were actually just stained. He also found that a veneer that I thought was cracked was actually fine the way it is and didn't need a fix. I have a mouth full of dental work, and I really like that he does not push me to get work that does not absolutely need to be done. If you need a crown, he will let you know when it needs to be scheduled (and unlike other doctors

Everyone at this establishment is very sweet and made the experience a lovely one. I’m pretty nervous about dentist appointments sometimes but this place makes it painless. They made sure to slowly talk me through the specifics of my dental health and I really appreciated that.

My Experience at Metairie Dental Centre was definitely the most calm & safest visit at any dentist. Everyone was so welcoming & kind.

I saw Dr. Terry Colby and his assistant (Zoila) at this facility for a chipped tooth
that occurred this past week and was absolutely terrified of going in because of a bad experience that happened years ago with a totally different facility and dentist. They were able to get me in pretty fast. The minute I walked in, I was very impressed with the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. They were very efficient on getting me to the back and the Dr and his assistant put me at ease at once and explained everything that would be taking place. They were very gentle and calming. The place was so big

I have been going to Metairie Dental for a few years now. I had 2 different emergencies and they were able to accommodate me in a short amount of time. It's the best place and the dentist makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable Everyone there is extremely nice and they all make you feel so comfortable. I would not go anywhere else

I went here for years, and am long overdue to go back for deep cleaning and exam. The dental hygienists and the dentists are wonderful, and their prices are very fair. My insurance is supposed to work with them, but apparently does not. It is beautiful and very clea. Socially distance even pre covid. Very nice staff!!! Dr Murphy too. I met him once.

They are very professional and do great work. Over the years I have had a lot of dental work done. The thing is I was still having problems. Metairie Dental Centre fixed that problem by redoing my previous dentist work the correct way and putting me on a treatment plan. I can say I'm very satisfied with the service.

I was visiting my family down in Metairie for a couple months and needed to get my teeth cleaned. My cousin recommend MDC. I went in for a cleaning and ended up getting a crown done as well the following week. Dr Terry was great and did fast gentle and efficient work. His technician Joyce was also very detailed and extremely friendly. He even recommend a dentist he knew back home.
If you are looking for a new dentist or happen to be in town and need a dentist trust me you'll be glad you stopped into the office. The entire staff was very professional.

Pleased overall, but many of the young assistant staff are socially awkward. This leads to not thoroughly communicating things that should be communicated. It's as if they are afraid to speak besides the bare minimum. Otherwise, the office is beautifully renovated and the dentists are friendly. Dr. Murphy is amazing, and love seeing Bonnie.

I haven't been to many dental offices this nice, friendly, organized, and clean. It was very simple to schedule, they were very accommodating, and the place is conveniently located with plenty of parking. I literally can't find a single thing to not like about this place so far, and I've worked in dental offices prior, so i know what to look for.
I'm not sure what this place looked like before the renovation (they're currently renovating apparently) but it is absolutely beautiful now. I am so so so happy I tried this place, and based only on google reviews. I had to leave my own.

Great dental provider! My daughter and I both go here - they always accommodate back to back appointments and love that they take patients on Saturdays so we dont have to miss work or school for routine appointments. I wish more medical, dental, vision providers were as accommodating as Metairie Dental Center.

Beware! False advertising! Just like other reviewers below, we were charged DOUBLE the rate advertised on their website ($49 first visit cleaning and xrays turned into $99 no xrays). This is a bait and switch, and when it happens to a few customers you can see it's a company tactic and a lack of values. My son chose this place based on good reviews and also his limited student budget. They charged him double because he was in pain, so it was deemed an emergency visit?!? Then they didn't diagnose or fix the problem (aching jaw), but told him he should see a specialist. They suggested

I have been a patient here for four years, and my dental health has never been better. The hygienists and front desk are friendly and efficient, and you are always greeted with a smile. They recently renovated and now there is ample parking, new equipment and a really nice waiting area (with free water, and arcade games)!
Last year they recommended I start using an electric toothbrush, and I chose the Philips Sonicare. I love it so much I got them as Christmas gifts for 3 of my family members!!

Listen... A few years ago, I closed myself off to dentist (insert tears), due to a crazy issue at another dentist and I just got frustrated with dental services. Then one day my mother bullied me into making an appointment at Metairie Dental Centre. As soon as I arrived at the centre, my mind begin to change about dental offices.
First off this may be the sexiest doctor office I have been in my life, so sleek, it makes me want to wear something more cool and hip to get my teeth cleaned. It's a huge waiting space, even with room for kids to play, which I think is adorable.
