Many debtors face overwhelming debt that they cannot pay off, even with debt reorganization and an extended repayment plan. The solution for individuals who cannot pay their debt is Chapter 7 bankruptcy. In Chapter 7, known as liquidation, the debtor's nonexempt property is sold and the proceeds are distributed to creditors.
Chapter 13 is designed for individuals with regular income who do not qualify for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and/or homeowners whose mortgages are in default and who want to save their homes from foreclosure. Corporations and partnerships are not eligible to file Chapter 13. These limits are set forth in 11 U.S.C.
Living with overwhelming debt is like a nightmare that never ends. Once you have fallen behind on bills, it is very difficult to catch up. The truth is that filing for bankruptcy can offer you a way to get out from under the burden of debt and start over. With several types of bankruptcy available, how do you choose?

I used Michael Berger services in 2015. He took on a difficult case which ended up in trial in March of 2016. It took Michael a few hours to destroy and humiliates the opposite side. We won the case in a landslide and I was able to recoup 100% of the money the other side was trying to steal from me. Michael is friendly, brilliant and companionate.

When I first called, Mr. Berger talked to me personally and took the time to explain everything to take away the stress and pressure. This firm (everybody there!) is caring, thoughtful, honest, and very, very, smart. Thanks to Mr. Berger and Attorney Associate Minha, we had a flawless BK, no problems, and I almost didnt' know it was happening it was so smooth. One creditor challenged a debt and Attorney Associate Ori and Mr. Berger in Mr. Berger's firm blew them away. Mr. Berger's & Ori's level competentcy was light years above our adversaries and it was very obvious.
