Sullivan County Oral Health Collaborative (SCOHC) was established in March of 2004 to identify oral health needs and create access to dental care in Sullivan County.

This collaboration of community leaders includes the Claremont Dental Initiative, Pathways of the River Valley, West Central Behavioral Health, Valley Regional Hospital, New London Hospital, United Way of Sullivan County, Claremont Kiwanis, and representatives from the dental community and public.The result of the collaborative's work is Community Dental Care of Richmond Dentist, BC.

Child Oral Health Report

Your child's first teeth will begin coming in around 3-16 sixteen months of age (usually around six months). The two bottom front teeth will be the first to come in and this will be followed by the four upper teeth in four to eight weeks. The timing of the eruption of the first tooth is largely influenced by genetics, so if there is a family history of getting the first tooth late, then your child will probably also get his first tooth late.

Polite and courteous staff. Explained everything every step of the way. I have had dentists actually make me bleed doing comprehensive exams before but not here. I am quite happy with the care and quality of it.

As always the clinic was neat and clean. I was seen on time. The staff was friendly and efficient. My clinical care was excellent and all my questions were answered. I particularly like that I was told the cost of my upcoming visit. (I don’t want a surprise)

I had an emergency, and the staff were able to get me in that day, and take care of the problem. The staff are all very friendly and informative. I highly recommend visiting community dental care of Claremont.

All 3 of our boys go to this facility, they did well helping them stay calm and gave clear answers and descriptions of every step they took or questions we had and were able to be quick and efficient while maintaining wonderful attitudes. The lovely ladies at the front desk were wonderful as well and had great patience while my kids were being anxious and even gave them a book to keep them occupied while waiting. They've improved significantly since last year and I'm greatful for that! Thank you all very much for a wonderful experience for my kids and myself!

The dental staff are amazing; the front end staff made a lot of mistakes on my chart. I get we're all human but it could make the huge difference if it's something important. Something to keep in mind. Otherwise great experience. My son is also a patient, they are great with little kiddos.

I took my baby here for her lip and tongue ties, and couldn't have asked for a better staff or experience. I was a bit nervous and flustered because my baby was screaming the whole time we were there, but they were great with her and made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely recommend!

The staff are very friendly and thorough. It's been a pleasure taking my family to community dental for our oral care.
They're always pleasant and do a great job of explaining the what's and the why's of what's going on during our visits.

My son was seen to have an upper lip tie corrected. When I made the appointment we discussed the procedure and I expressed my concerns due to my son having ASD. I asked about sedation and was told that while they don’t typically do that for this procedure, it wouldn’t be a problem given the circumstances and his previous experience with medical procedures. I drove 2.5 hours for this appointment only to be told that they will not in fact use sedation and if they feel he can’t handle the procedure once they got going, we would be referred to Dartmouth. The complete lack of consideration tells
