Heath began serving the dental needs of the rural community of Walkertown, North Carolina. Later he was joined by Dr. Justin H. Batten, a native of the area, who plans to work side by side with Dr. Batten and then continue his legacy into the decades ahead.

We handle tooth extraction situations, including wisdom teeth extractions, at an affordable price. My experiences at Drs. Batten & Heath Family Dentistry have been nothing short of splendid. Seeing familiar, bright faces each time I walk in for my appointment brings a certain calmness to me, as I've never particularly liked going to the dentist. Since I've started going here I've looked forward to seeing Luci or Pam at the desk and enjoyed Marsha and I's conversations. Excellent dental care too!

My wife and I had an excellent experience!! Cindy was our hygienist and she was excellent! Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Batten was very professional and took the time to answer all of our questions. We have been going here for years and look forward to our appointments! Wonderful Doctor and staff! I went into Dr. Battens office to get a few cavities worked on, after the filling my teeth hurt to chew and had hot and cold sensitivity. I went back a week later, Dr Heath saw me that day and was great. Was scheduled for one more filling with Dr Batten and wanted to talk to the doctor about my course of treatment. They were trying to get me to get a third round of xrays, they got extremely pushy while doing so and tried to convince me of treatment that i did not feel comfortable with. Dr Batten was verbally aggressive and as I left he yelled " don't come back". Don't worry, I will not be seeing

Office staff is not friendly, I was sick on the day of my appointment and had to call to cancel. They told me that since I canceled last minute it was considered a no show which led me to never be seen again pretty much. They rescheduled my appointment twice (which was two months out each time)and right before I was suppose to be seen they called and canceled the day before saying the dentist wouldn’t be in. I told them my teeth are hurting and am in a lot of pain and wanted to be on the cancellation list to be seen sooner and they told me that since I was a “no show” I couldn’t be put

I’ve been going to this place since I was a young girl, I had Dr Heath as my dentist he was great & remembers me as a young girl going to him. I recently just had Dr batten” fix some of my cavities” he did a terrible job. they have been hurting for about 5 months now since he filled them & I’ve been dealing with pain for a while & I went in and explained how my teeth were bothering me to him, and that I don’t feel he done the job right, he got rude with me & was VERY unprofessional..if you are thinking about seeking this dentist please send your self else where.

Dr. Heath is the best Dentist ever. I have had several different Dentist in my lifetime, but none bar none or ever will compare to him! I highly recommend Dr. Heath to anyone!
And his Dental Assistant Vivian is the best ever. She is the sweetest person! And Dr. Heath and his Dental Assistant Vivian explain everything about any procedure you may have had done and are so gentle and caring. What a wonderful experience! I had not been to the Dentist in over 10 years due to my anxiety. From the moment I walked in they made me feel so relaxed. They have an essential oil diffuser that made the office smell like a spa and the most comfy blankets I have ever seen. I needed a lot of treatment so I decided to get the laughing gas which was very helpful. I will be a patient for life! Thank you Dr. Batten and staff for such a wonderful experience.
