Christian Counseling Services provides caring, professional counseling from a Christian worldview. I was counseling with a couple in the medical community recently. The husband was a very successful physician and his wife was a homemaker. In talking to them about living out their priorities the husband came to the realization that he was quite content to give decision making in the family and marriage over to his wife.
If this relationship were a home, it would have no curb appeal. It is dilapidated and run down. This type of relationship is governed by busyness urgency, and neglect. Almost everything is more important. It is relationship of burn out, individualism, stress and exhaustion. The question of this relationship is, "Where do I get the energy, time and resources to work on improving this relationship?"
There are 15 components of mature love mentioned in I Corinthians 13. I will list them below (adapted from the Message Bible). All you have to do is rate yourself on a scale of 1 (very poor) to 10 (excellent). Do it in the context of your marriage for this is where the deepest love is to be displayed.
Many couples spend their lives turning on the Someday Wheel. Someday we'll have a regular date night, someday we'll reduce the stress in our lives, someday we'll have the money to do what we want, someday we'll go on exotic vacation, someday we'll get our spending under control, someday we'll, .It sounds like the tomorrow man of this poem, Each morning he'd stack up the letters he'd write.

Karen Davis is an amazing Christian woman. She is very in tune with the Christ. I've had dozens of counselors in the past and I never really felt heard and always felt judged. It is hard to hear bad things about yourself, but Karen didn't judge me she just helped me realize in a loving way that I needed to work on curtain areas of my life. I love talking with Karen I trust her completely. I hope she will never retire idk where is he without her

Life is an ever changing journey with so many ups and downs. It's okay to ask for help when you get lost along the way. Always. And there's no better place than here to get it. The counselor fired us before the session got started. He said he didn't get a good vibe and wasn't going to continue. I think it had something to do with me telling him that we read the paperwork and did not need it reread to us taking up our counseling time. At $150 an hour well 45 minutes I would like the time to be spent on something important not something I already read.

with a friend about my recent session with a counselor, he referred me
to Christian Counseling Services. I was a little skeptical and nervous
at first, but my experience at CCS has exceeded my expectations time
and time again. While counseling and working through my own issues has
not been an easy task, it has been easier with the help of a counselor
who is there not only to support, but challenge me every step of the
way. Through counseling, I have been able to work through my issues
and become a stronger, healthier person.

I was calling a lot of different counseling offices around Springfield trying to figure out which place would be best for my fiance and me. When I called the Christian Counseling Services, the lady answered, (she answered the phone in a very rude tone by the way), I asked if they offered Pre Marriage Counseling and the lady responded "If you would of looked at our website, you would know that" in a VERY snide tone, and she was being very condescending . This took me by complete shock, I then told her that I had not been looking at websites, I was just on my phone calling all the offices around
