Sunray Healthcare Center
Our nursing department provides excellent care combined with dignity for our residents. Professionally staffed around the clock, we give your loved one comfort and specialized care. Each of our residents comes to us with very different and specific rehab needs. Our entire rehabilitation team is committed to creating individualized therapy programs that directly answer those specific needs.

We encourage each resident to achieve their maximum potential of independence and ability. Our sub-acute care is for those residents who are medically fragile and require additional attention. We seek to maximize the quality of life for our sub-acute care population and offer them specialized restorative services.
Services
At Sunray Healthcare Center we seek to maximize the quality of life for our long-term care population, who require a specialized restorative program. Of course, this service is included in the room and board fee. Our dietary program is designed to meet the dietary and physician-ordered needs of each resident in our care.
An experienced rehabilitation team will strive to provide outstanding results and excellent quality of care. Residents will be empowered through individualized programs to reach goals of increased independence and ability. Resident families are also encouraged to participate in therapy sessions, caregiver education, and training.
Sunray Healthcare Center is pleased to provide a sub-acute care program for residents recently released from the hospital. We are able to treat residents, in whatever state they may be in, from recently discharged from a hospital to medically fragile. Our goal is to help our residents in the recuperation process while helping them achieve their maximum capabilities to return home as quickly as possible.
Our staff here at Sunray Healthcare Center knows that when someone is suffering from the progressive stages of memory loss, they will need continued support and assistance. We also understand that each case is uniquely different and deserves the utmost attention and care. We offer the care and attention needed to help with this process in each unique case.
Sunray Healthcare Center strives to provide a positive and uplifting atmosphere for our residents. Our outgoing and friendly staff makes a great effort to create social programs and activities to match the capabilities, interests, and needs of each resident. Each resident is given a calendar to keep them informed of upcoming events such as birthday parties, movies, musical programs, outings, and other special events.

My 90year old father is there now.
They are taking care of him, to help him get back on his feet and walking. The place is decent and the staff is very helpful and polite.
No one wants to go to a rehab or a Skilled nursing facility. But thank god we have them.
I approve of the health care they are providing and grateful to the staff and their efforts.
I don’t like the 3 people in a room when I see rooms with just one person 🤷🏽‍♂️ !
But so far that would be my only complaint.

Horrible place. My loved one is not getting the care provided. I have been lied to and played games with from high level staff to change nurses. Doesn’t deserve one star. This place is deplorable!!!

My mom was in this facility for 2 months in subacute. After that she was transferred to the floor and it took her less than a week to go back to the hospital to icu one more time due to a bladder infection and now she is back to how she was 4 months ago. There is “good personnel” but the Terrible care.

My family member has been a long-term resident of Sunray since 2018. I did a lot of research of nearby facilities and spoke with a good friend, who was a Chaplin, and frequently visited numerous nursing homes in the nearby areas advocating for his clients. Sunray was chosen for our loved one, and I have no regrets. As with any healthcare facility, the family should be involved in the resident’s well-being. My experience of the staff is positive. I am aware of the nursing team providing care for my love one and all of my questions and concerns have been addressed – specifically Judy, Medi, and

Bad people. Only working for money and not for the right reason. Their hearts are not in the right place. My mom felt the bad vibes and was crying to take her out so thank God I did. If I would have left her there .only God knows what would have happened. Supervisor is caniving as well, he didn't do anything to help.

Accountability , there are now solid steps in place to find out who did what and why, My father while under their care had 3 serious mishaps while in their care. First was he was drugged without it being charted. next week he pulled his G tube out because someone took off the girdle that keeps him for doing that to wash it and never put it back and left him unattended. The third and final straw was his diaper rash that was so bad it looked like a 3rd degree burn, white flesh and highly red irritated area. Which told me that he had been there 4 weeks and no body decided to say anything. friendly

You have to walk through a cloud of flies just to get in the front door, there was a plate of black rotten food on the drinking fountain in the hall, the nurse call button didn't even work till the 3rd day and they made my partner sit in a soiled diaper for almost 3 hours waiting for help to clean him. Only excuse was that they were busy.
