Marilyn Landis is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Karuna Reiki Master. Marilyn, a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has always wanted to work with people in a healing way. After practicing Reiki energy healing at this level, she wanted to learn even more about Reiki. Marilyn went on to take classes for Reiki Level II and Reiki Level III.
Therapeutic Massage incorporates a variety of techniques including Swedish Massage, Connective Tissue, Foot Reflexology, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Hot Stones Therapy and Reiki tailored to the specific needs and current physical condition of the client. Therapeutic Massage promotes relaxation, decreases muscular pain and discomfort, improves flexibility, and increases circulation.
Every cell in your body needs sufficient water to function at its best, including your skin cells. The skin is your body's largest organ and serves you in many ways. Some of the ways your skin helps your body: it helps make Vitamin D from sunlight; it helps protect you from germs; it helps keep your body at just the right temperature by releasing sweat when you're too warm; it provides you with the sense of touch; and much more.
