Dr. Michael J. Paesani grew up in western Maryland near Deep Creek Lake, MD. After graduating from Southern Garrett High School, he went on to study Biochemistry at Western Maryland College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Crowns and bridges are a means to restore damage to teeth or to replace missing teeth. A crown, also known as a "cap", covers the surface of a tooth that has experienced a considerable degree of damage. This functions to strengthen the tooth and also considerably improves the alignment, shape and overall appearance.
Dental implants are designed to allow the replacement of missing teeth to increase function and aesthetics. Implants are small cylindrical titanium fixtures that typically serve to replace the roots of missing teeth and act as a base for replacement teeth that feel and work like natural teeth. After adequate healing has occurred, a crown is placed on the implant as a final restoration.
Having a set of beautiful, straight, gleaming white teeth makes for an amazing smile, however, even with these desirable characteristics, if the upper gum line sits too low (i.e., a gummy smile) or is uneven, these imperfections can cause an individual to feel self-conscious. Traditionally, a scalpel was used to address these types of gum line irregularities and overgrown gingival tissue.
Porcelain Veneers are a cosmetic dental procedure in Falls Church VA in which thin porcelain facings are placed on the front (visible) area of the teeth. These thin porcelain facings placed on your teeth increase the aesthetics of your smile, including shape, color, brightness and position. Generally, a small amount (less than 1mm) of natural tooth structure must be removed to allow the veneer to fit seamlessly into the smile line.

I had a great experience! Dr. Paesani was gentle, & he explained what he was doing & why every step of the way. His assistant, Dana was very experienced & easy to talk to. She put me at ease. I have been twice so far. The dental hygienist, Diane was also very nice, gentle , & thorough. His receptionist, Genete is very good at her job, & nice.

I wish I could leave a nice review but I can't. If you want a dentist who cares more about money than patients than this is the place for you. First, you basically have to take a day off to fit their schedule which ends at 5 & is closed F-Sun. Second, they make you pay when you arrive and then again when you leave. Third, if there is an insurance issue, they make zero attempt to contact you. This practice (under Dr. Banker) used to care. Now they just care about profits. Avoid!

I've been going to Dr. Paesani for 5 years and always come away feeling confident that my dental needs have been met. Diane, the one dental hygenist I see regularly, is wonderful. Diane and Dr. Paesani give me a clear assessment of my dental health. Both are gentle. Office is run efficiently, pleasantly. Additional costs are spelled out. I would definitely recommend this dental office.

Dr. Paesani was referred to my bf and I by a good friend. We are extremely happy to have his practice in the neighborhood. I can easily say this place is probably the best out of all dentists that I have ever been to/experienced. Dr. Paesani + team are all professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable.
