Southfork Lake

Use to be a great apartment complex. Has really started to go down hill over the last year or so. Rowdy kids with no supervision at the pool constantly. Blaring music and just generally being rude and inconsiderate. Management seems to not do anything about it.

Kara is awesome and needs a raise! This is a great place to live and is conveniently located off a major freeway with easy access to many important Houston area landmarks like NASA, Med Center, Downtown, Museum District and Energy Corridor as well as a major airport. The staff is friendly, the apartments are clean, modern and a great community.

I have lived here for a year and I have been really happy with my experience! Maintenance is very prompt usually coming the next business day or at most 2. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you get in late. The location is good, close to PTC and 288 but can be a little loud because of the busy road right outside. My 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and all the appliances are updated. Also the pool is great during the summer months! I agree with another reviewer that I would have liked to have the leasing staff put on some community events but I can understand if the pandemic played into that.

It's 11 o'clock at night and I'm circling the parking lot without an open Parking spot in sight. in this entire complex! There are cars lining the tow away zones illegally and honestly I don't blame them because it's been 30 minutes driving in circles and I'm exhausted. I want sleep and I want to get to my apartment. I will likely have to park on the street of the neighborhood over a mile away from my front door and walk. A young female walking alone at night! Been living here for 7 months now. The apartment complex is nice overall and is perfectly located right off of HWY288. The inside is updated with stainless steal appliances, kitchen island and washer and dryers. They have valet trash and concierge services. Which is included in the price of rent. I feel the concierge services is a waste of money being that I never uses it. My number one complaint, is the parking HORRIBLE. They have too many units and not enough of parking spaces for the tenants however do they have a garages you can purchase when available. The maintenance crew responds in a timely

I had an awesome tour, the apartments are so spacious, they are in a great location and the customer service is super nice. Thank you for taking the time to give me all the information. You made things so easy for us. We definitely are going to apply as soon as we see the floor plan we're looking at available. Hope to be seeing ya'll real soon.

Apartment is BEAUTIFUL with a great view, maintenance is super helpful, front office staff-not so much, majority of the simple questions you may have they CANNOT answer or provide solutions for or just simply don't answer the phone. Visiting in person may help but again, they still are short of answers or solutions to ANY problem, very frustrating. Last but not least, parking is a nightmare unless you have a garage. Be advised you could be parking a ways away from your actual apartment home.

The office management for this place is extremely rude and disrespectful. Not to mention Unprofessional when speaking to residents and poor followup when residents seeking help to resolve issues.

So PARKING IS A COMPLETE MESS. I write this this review from my car because I just spent 30 mins driving around the complex to find a parking spot. Nothing. Nada. Zip. This happens so much that I finally decided to call the office. When I asked if there were any plans on finding a solution the answer was no. Then I was told the only way to ensure parking is to buy a garage for $100 a month after paying almost 2,000 in rent. So when I brought up the fact that I have a night schedule, I am a single female that should not have to walk literally across the complex (5+ buildings) at 2:00 in the morning

The new management team has done a phenomenal job in turning Southfork Lake apartments into the luxury living it was initially intended to be. Hats off to the manager and front office team for their outstanding customer service and communication with things that are going on around the property. Thanks for making the necessary changes.

Truly a wonderful place to live.

I was a resident here in the last year. The recent changes to management and staff have been EXTRAORDINARILY improved with regard to Resident Care, Communication, and just overall competence. The apartments themselves have always been great, everything functions as it should and the location to affordability is perfect.

The experience here has been great. Very friendly staff and so easy to work with. We worked with Sydney - highly recommend asking for her

I can't say too many bad things about this place. It was a cluster a few weeks ago when new management took over. I don't know the circumstances but it was so sudden and very unorganized. Communication was awful. My lease was lost and they told me I owed $300 more than what I signed for. We did get it fixed but it was a hassle. However, they do seem to be getting their shenanigans together and are more involved and active. I see the maintenance men often while walking my dog and they are awesome and very friendly. This place has gone further downhill. Although they did clean up the park after my review, there have been increased safety issues and a change in management that is very disorganized.

Safety Issues

On at least two occasions, someone has tried to get in my apartment. Thankfully, it was locked and secured. Several residents had their car windows smashed, and the pool was overrun with a wild party this past weekend. So, now all residents have to get "amenity bands" to use the amenities and you only get one per leaseholder, and it's a $75.00 fee if you lose the band. They want us

We live here & currently disappointed in the management of the property. They need to provide more care of the issues & fix them in a timely manner. Better communication is needed!
