We will take impressions of your upper and lower teeth to make custom trays to place a whitening gel into. Our office uses Opalescence tooth whitening systems. We offer 20% and 35% Carbamine Peroxide that can be used in the comfort of your own home for 30 minutes to 1 hour a day until you have reached your desired shade of white or for up to two weeks.
To diagnosis and prevent gum disease at its earliest point is our focus. Once diagnosed, treatment for gum disease can include non-surgical treatment in-office for earlier stages, and/or referral to a specialist when necessary. Antibiotic therapy: Such as Arestin, can be used to treat this disease and may be recommened as part of your overall care plan.

I had extensive dental work done by Dr Tanya Lawhon. She and her dental assistants, Jeanette and Rebecca, took excellent care of me. I am extremely satisfied with my dental treatement. Victoria, the office manager, took extra time to explain every detail of the charges ( which were lower than I expected). I whole heartedly recommend the dental practice of Dr. Tanya P. Today my 18 year old had to do another adult task on his own- go to the dentist for fillings. He then realized what the procedure entails. Dr. Lawhon and her staff did an amazing job of guiding him through the process and kept him calm through laughter and great compassion for his state of mind. Today I received excellent dental care fron Dr Tanya P. Lawhon, DDS., PA., and from her dental assistants Jeanette and Rebecca. The office manager, Victoria, explained the bill in detail. On my previous visit, my inital contact, with Susan, was so pleasant, when I booked my initial appointment. Tina, (Christina), the dental hygenist, did an… excellent job of cleaning my teeth, taking x-rays and photos of all my teeth, documenting the health of the roots of each tooth, and explaining all her findings.
