We came to the Dells for a couple of nights. After the first night I saw that our tire was flat. I searched “auto bodies near me” and Hovland was the closest. They couldn’t have been nicer more reasonable, honest and insightful! Tow and tire fix for about $100. They really helped this situation not ruin our little vacation!

I had a boat trailer which needed axel/bearing work. Marina suggested Hovland's, after they decided they couldn't fix it. Now Tuesday I had to have boat and trailer ready travel north on Friday for a fishing tournament. The office staff scheduled me in on Friday. Alex, checked me in and said I'll call later. At noon Alex called and said that there was more than bearings needed the axel needed to go to out for machining work and the trailer wouldn't be ready until next week. Alex knew I felt defeated, he said I'll check with the machining shop and call me back. At 515PM Alex called back and said

They said they did a check up on my transmission. They claimed the tranny was black and smelly and the clutch was falling apart. Then said they would give me an estimate. Didn't hear anything from them for 2 days (5 days now) and took it somewhere else. The new place gave a different opinion. They said the tyranny fluid was a dark red and that there was no smell. It might just need a $500 part. But gave me an estimate right away.

Traveling from out of state I got a flat tire and this was the closest service location. As soon as I pulled in I knew I was the right place. They let me drop off my flat tire for a patch and filled my donut with no appointment. When I went back to have the tire put on the next morning they brewed me a pot of coffee and made me feel like a guest at an old friend's. Thanks guys!

While traveling to the Dells we lost exhaust on my van. We contacted Hovland's about the exhaust on my handicap van. They were very knowledgeable about this custom install. We scheduled an appointment for the next day, they were prompt with service. Everyone was very polite. Their business was clear and tidy for a service business..

We hit something on 90 that made our car pull off the road ruining 2 tires (1 was a total blowout and the other had a big bubble in it). My husband replaced the flat one with our spare and we drove it over to Hovland's for new tires. They fit us in between a couple of jobs, put on 2 new tires and checked for any other damage and we were on our way. Very nice people, knowledgeable and fair prices. Highly recommend!

Driving back from Minnesota the oil light in our Mercedes went on. We Googled found Hovland and stopped in They filled the oil and wiper fluid
checked the air pressure and when we went to play (NO CHARGE). I'd say one very nice random act of kindness and as I see it no Trump support sign. I'd give them 10 stars!

If I could give Hovland's 10 stars I would. My vehicle was disabled on I94/I90. After my Road Service provider wasted 3 hours trying? to get me assistance, I contacted Hovland's and within 20 minutes, help arrived in the form of Tony Reilly. Tony was efficient, courteous and never complained about the mosquitoes or rain! If I ever start a business, I want someone like Tony to be my public relations staff.

We are from Chicago and our new SUV broke down. Rather than over charge us and say they could fix it, they told us what they thought was wrong with it and explained that it should be covered by our Power Train Warranty. They called the closest Ford dealer for us as well. The owner and the woman working there were so sweet, they had toys and a friendly dog that kept our 3 boys occupied while the mechanic went out for a drive with my husband. Can't say enough good things about this place, if i lived here, they would absolutely be our shop. Honest, friendly and so reasonable priced.

We are out of town rv'ers and our manifold on our class C needed to be repaired. We called 5 places and no one would do it. We called Hovlands and Alex explained exactly what needed to be done and the time frame depending on the bolts. Pricing was fair and honest. They were so accommodating and friendly and even fed us some of their homemade stew. Any traveler I would highly recommend calling.
