The appraiser spent 24 minutes appraising our home. He wrote negative remarks towards the listing agent in regards to the marketed square footage; though he admittedly didn’t take measurements for his report. He stated that the square footage of the home was 110 feet less than marketed. We submitted builder permit’s, tax records, and third-party commercial measurements to dispute him. He used outdated market comps and homes with incomparable features to devalue our home 20k. He was also not knowledgeable in the current market trends in our area.
