5 stars A's Garage! My 09 mini has starting problem. I took the car to somewhere else prior to A's garage ended up changing a new battery but the problem doesn't seem to go away! I ended up searching for mini specialist and found A's Garage due to high rating on Yelp! Paulo prioritized what it needs to be fixed the most and give me a very thorough understanding of what the problem was!

Al was very professional, fast and knowledgeable about the vehicle as soon as we spoke he was welcoming and had an appointment for me right away. I was advised on maintenance the vehicle should get done as well as other tips and notes which I highly value. Honest work is the best work. I appreciated the hassle free service.

This is a long overdue one. I'm from Santa Clarita (40 miles away) and BMW dealership is just 2 miles away from my house, but still, when it comes to the needs of my 2003 e39 M, it only goes to this shop! Been coming here with my 2007 Mini for a while and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Alvin and his team always entertain my questions and explain the recommended services in detail. I've learned so much about my car from them. Their prices are not cheap but definitely fair, and I know I'm getting a good service. Definitely recommend.

I was selling a car and the buyer was located on the east coast. They had pre-selected a handful of local shops and I chose to take the car over to A's Garage for the PPI after reading the reviews and also hearing a bit about the shop.
Alvin & co. definitely know their stuff. Nice to see a shop run by enthusiasts who not only like & have fast cars but are actually capable of going fast in them as well - (he tracks his cars!) Hoping my guy never retires but if/when he does, I wouldn't hesitate to bring any cars over to A's.

We're a 3 car BMW family and Alvin has been servicing all of our cars for years. He can handle everything from routine repairs to major component rebuilds including engines, transmissions, and differentials, and being an avid racer, he's very capable of handling race car modifications. In the 7 or so years he's been taking care of our cars, I've never had an issue with any of the work he and his crew have done. I never have to worry about Alvin always doing additional unauthorized work; if he sees a problem previously not diagnosed, he'll contact me and go over the options

Highly recommend!!! I went here after my regular shop was too busy to take my car. I am so thankful that I was referred here.
Alvin is so personable, a great communicator throughout the time my car was being serviced and even took the time to explain everything that was going on with my car. I have a pretty old Mini Cooper, and the battery finally stopped holding a charge after over a decade. Alvin not only helped me understand what was going on with my car but identified a few other things both items that I knew needed to be replaced and have been avoiding and other things for me just to keep

Alright, I might have posted photos of my first visit but the Alpina cluster and RTD shifter was from today.
I don't think I'm a rookie anymore considering the amount of times I stop by the shop.
Work done this time around:
Soft top motor
Window regulator
Brand new e46 zhp 6 speed trans
RTD shifter install
Added a clutch
Motor mounts
And a few misc parts to make the car work.
Now here is the fun part. Due to covid, my car sat at the shop for 6 months. Originally I was converting the trans to a manual from a SMG but parts were hard to come by so Alvin did the impossible and went

Al was great, I recently moved to the area and needed some work done on my BMW. He was so great and helped me feel comfortable with his knowledge and experience since he had previously worked at my last service center in OC! He gave me a call a few times in the day to give me an update and even got everything I needed to get done in the same day during COVID. Knowing he worked at a certified dealership helped ease me and if you have any questions he's pretty knowledge about BMW.

I would give 10 stars to this shop if I could! I've been going to A's Garage since 2013 and been way overdue for my review. Alvin is always so accommodating and knows right away what's wrong with my Clubman. I'm so lucky to have found this shop! Honest, capable, and speedy service has made me a very loyal customer. We took our Mini Cooper here. First thing we noticed the older man sat in the car jerking the gears roughly. He then was quite inexperienced driving our manual car. accelerating it so much that he would be burning the clutch. later we come to find out the gears cable is broken and he tries to dismiss it calmly. I come to realize this while I was leaving there driving our car. the reason to begin that we came in there was for a abs light.
the owner got so furious with me behaving quite aggressive in my face and I do find that to be extemely rude from a shop owner. I don't think any one should

SANTA CLARITA SHOP: OK, so now it turns out that Gio and Lucia sold Gio's (now Alvin's A's Garage)....Pretty darn disturbing as they were one in a mil!...Now what to do? I come to find out that "Alvin" Isidro bought the business, and that he had worked with Gio at Bob Smith BMW. I'm stuck: I really trust No Mechanics, but my 325i is 'playing'… electrical problems, so I come in to see Alvin & chat about Gio, honest mechanics vs. the alternative, What's his take on customer service and sound him out for his knowledge....and my car problems, He makes what sounds like an educated diagnosis
