We are a state-of-the-art hospital in Honolulu with four exam rooms, digital full-body X-ray, ultrasound, treatment rooms, a surgery suite, a dental surgery room with a hand-held dental X-ray machine, and an on-site laboratory for expedient return of blood test results. Our comprehensive approach to medicine also includes acupuncture and advanced laser therapies.

Whether your pet needs a thorough bath, a brand-new cut, or a pedicure, we have grooming services that suit their needs and your preferences. More than offering dog grooming - we deliver a spa-like experience that treats your pet's body as well as their mind. Includes our Alii Signature Lilikoi Pineapple Shampoo, a sugar scrub on the paw pads, elbows, and nose, and a fur blowout.

Unbelievably kind, attentive, thorough, and they actually listen to you and take the time to answer all of your questions. So glad to have found them, and to have my 14.5 year old lab in really good hands with his treatment plan. Dr. Rankin was amazing. All of the staff we interacted with was top notch friendly and professional. Truly the gold standard of what an amazing veterinary care experience should be.

Our first experience with Ali’i was a really good one. Their staff was friendly and courteous. And Dr Denzdell was compassionate and professional. And they were able to squeeze us in on the same day. They are open on weekends so you know you’re not going to have to pay any unnecessary boarding fees. Fortunately our Kitty was out the same day. And they did an excellent job. We would definitely recommend this place.

Yes, they offer a wide range of services but we could’ve gotten better pet care done closer to home and for less money.
Alii wouldn’t let us into the building for our appointment. We were not allowed to tour the boarding facilities. After a few simple vaccine updates our bill was over $300 AND they expected full boarding payment upfront for our two dogs. Long story short, I wish we hadn’t wasted our time and money here.

I have had nothing but great service from all staff of Alii Animal Hospital. They are always friendly, kind & helpful. Alii is the PCP for my senior dog, Pookie.
Expensive but cheaper than back home in WA (worth every penny for Pookie though). Grateful to have such a wonderful, talented and trustworthy place I can bring my pup to.

Yesterday I called because my puppy broke out in bumps. They told me I could be seen and when I got there they turned me away and then said they couldn’t fit us in. So I made an appointment. So today it cleared before our scheduled appointment. I emailed them stating it had got better so no need to come in. Today I see a charge in my card for a missed appointment fee. Imagine you telling someone someone then they ignore you and charge you anyways. Claimed they never got the email, how about you look for it instead of being money hungry. Didn’t complain when y’all wasted my gas yesterday right

Definitely!!! Dr. Cook and her team are amazing with my pack of animals. She is very thorough and methodically treats my animals with the least invasive approach. Also, having a vet clinic that does laser therapy and pet acupuncture in town is a definite plus on top of the accomodations I need for doggy day care.
Everyone is extremely helpful and compassionate! They truly love animals and it shows in their level of care.

Veterinary supervision over all the resort canine guests, gives clients peace of mind when leaving their pet at Ali’i. 24-hour resort care and supervision of all guests. The resort offers day care, spa services, grooming, and luxury lodging for dogs. The suites have 24 hours video camera so guests can be viewed at all times by their parents. Offering Hawaii the best veterinary care to dogs and cats and the best resort for dogs. The hospital has laser therapy, acupuncture, dental surgery, in-house radiology, in-house laboratory and pharmacy.
