Services
Dr. Kam has been practicing veterinary medicine for 30 years. She graduated from Colorado State University with a veterinary degree in 1984. Knowing that Hawaii was her home, and would be where she wanted to practice, she joined Dr. Kwai Fong Choy at Kapalama Pet Hospital for 10 years and then Dr. Suellen Kotake at the All Pets Clinic in Waipahu until September of 1995.
The goal of Ohana Veterinary Hospital is to individually personalize our medical care for each of our clients. Wellness exams are crucial to providing the best care for your pet. Routine preventative care can help to prevent the spread of diseases or catch it at an early stage. We provide routine vaccinations, fecal tests, dental exams and many other services to provide optimal care for every patient.
Ohana Veterinary Hospital is a dedicated veterinarian serving the state of Hawaii. For many years, we have worked closely with our clients and their pets to make sure that they are always happy and healthy. One of the best ways to make sure that pets feel their best is through educating their owners.
Ohana Veterinary Hospital helps clients throughout Hawaii to get the best possible care for their pets. We have a passion for animals and do everything in our power to make them happy and healthy for years to come. From a new puppy to an aging family pet who has lived with you for decades, we will adapt our services to best suit their needs.
I've been bringing my pets to Dr Kam and her the staff at Ohana Vet Hospital for over 15 years. They're professional, courteous, caring, compassionate and honest in providing the best health care whether routine or emergency. Plenty of parking but really appreciate the dedicated coned stalls right at front entry.

I have been taking my dogs to this vet clinic a few years and I'm very comfortable with it. I moved to further from the clinic on the island but still bring my pups to them because I trust the doctors and stuff members. They are friendly and even though are very busy all the time, they always do a good job.

We took our dog there a couple times, first because his paw pads had cracked and second to get his Bordetella vaccine. Our dog is a high anxiety dog and needs special attention and patient, however, instead of patience, they were more focused on seeing him as quickly as possible.
Anytime we ever took our dog to the vet and even now, we just had to leave the room and let the doctor take care of his needs. Instead, their instinct here was to muzzle him and pin him down!! He’s not a vicious or angry dog, he’s just high anxiety and super protective of my husband and me.
