Always an impeccable experience. Amazing food and drinks. All staff is friendly, attentive, welcoming, and polite. I’d say this is the best Italian cuisine in Montgomery County with the most responsive staff and prices are very fair for the options. I absolutely love the open concept dining style, this makes for a very friendly but still personal dining experience. An all time favorite and one of my favorite recommendations to family/friends.

Excellent upscale Italian in the northern Philadelphia suburbs. A bit pricey but worth it for the atmosphere and quality food. Been here a few times and never had anything that wasn't delicious. This visit pleased with Caesar salad, eggplant appetizer, bronzino and Ossobucco. Want to go back to try more oof their reportedly excellent pastas.

This place was fantastic! On a supplier visit, they took us to dinner, where we had great conversation at the bad before we wee seated in the party room. The service was excellent and they had amazing appetizers, soups and salads. The veal chop main course was cooked perfectly! I would definitely recommend this place for a great dining experience!

No matter where I've eaten Italian food, for elegant Italian, you cannot beat this place. The branzino is the best ever and the paparadelle with mushroom sauce cannot be beat! This is a wonderful special occasion
restaurant. No need to go to the city when you've got the best right here in the burbs.

We went here on a Thursday night with 3 people for a work dinner. The service was excellent (there when you needed them, not noticeable otherwise) and the food was great. I have gluten and dairy sensitivity which they were easily able to accomodate with no fuss (lots of fish, chicken and beef entrees). I wanted the lobster salad, which was actually an appetizer, but they adapted it to be a main dish. The others said the ravioli was divine (they even accommodated his request to have a pink sauce not on the menu) and tutti di mare linguini looked delicious as well. Oysters tasted fresh and pretty

We went on New Years Eve and the food was scrumptious! They had a 3-course special menu for the occasion. First we have several types of salad to choose from. Baby spinach salad was our choice with warm goat cheese and orange vinaigrette - a perfect blend of ingredients. Salad was crisp and goat cheese was indeed warm for a winter’s night.
We then choose gnocchi as our pasta selection, which was incredibly light and full flavored. For our entree we enjoyed veal medallions which were very good and not far from being great. The potatoes, sort of a crispy au gratin, were delicious. Unfortunately

Ordered calamari for appetizer came out soggy and rubbery not at all Crisp. Ate here before and it was fine. Must've been an off night. my wife ordered the prawns stuffed with crab meat which was absolutely amazing tasted like a lobster. I ordered a Veal chop medium well when I cut into the middle it was completely raw and I mean completely raw. And just a small thing that bugs the crap out of me why do you give out butter for the bread and it's hard as a rock should have some soft butter for bread.

Traditional old school Italian. Delicious freshly made pastas were truly exceptional, not dried pasta, big difference. Lots of specials made the selection difficult, Bronzino, Dover Sole, hard to chose. Carpaccio was outstanding. Servers were white shirt black tie professional. Ambiance a bit more upscale like a special place.

Been there many times, this time for my father's 83 birthday. Since the chef left to open his own restaurant down the road. The food has become very average. The homemade pasta was fair, the new york strip steak was very tough and that was one of the special's. Someone else's review said all the meat dishes were tough. We should have listened. The deserts were just as bad cheesecake was terrible. Also the owner's" husband and wife " or management hover a round the dinning room taking orders and clearing dishes. Very uncomfortable, and a little rude.

Nice atmosphere, generous portions, and friendly and prompt service. The prices are a bit on the high side and food is pretty good, but it didn't blow us away as far as Italian food goes. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place and we'd probably go back again someday, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this when there are several other good Italian places nearby. Here's what we had and thoughts:
- Caeser salad: Romaine lettuce and a mild dressing, but lacked complex flavors. Croutons were meh.
- Lobster bisque (special): Very rich soup served in a generously sized bowl. Elegant plating and flavorful

Would not go. Food was ok. Waiter was pleasant. Owner greeted us without looking up from Phone at front door. He and his wife proceeded to have dinner (with a bottle of wine and mixed drink) next to us while looking around for an hour. Again; food was decent. But how the owner operates says something about business.

This place is generally fantastic but you need to know what you are in for before you arrive. We usually only eat here a few times a year for special occasions because it is quite expensive, however we've never had a bad meal and the kitchen is happy to help improve your experience if any of the food doesn't happen to be to your liking.
First, the negatives others have mentioned aren't unfounded but are really no problem if you know what to expect. It will be a long dinner. Most everyone dresses up; sport coats for men and dresses/skirts for women. There will be numerous wait staff

The reviews for this restaurant puzzle me - my family has been coming to San Marco for years and we've yet to have a bad experience. Maybe we've been lucky. Yes, it is expensive - probably a bit more than it should be, but the food has always been delicious and the service friendly and accommodating. Price considerations are the only reason I'm giving it a 4 as opposed to a 5.
We were in again last night for my mother's birthday and everything was great - our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and rattled off the myriad specials without notes. One thing to note about this

I can't comment about the quality of the food because we never got seated at our table. I made a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and we waited at the bar 30 minutes beyond our seating time with no indication that we would be seated. We definitely checked in with the hostess and owner when we got there and there was no mention of them running behind. There were 3 other couples waiting at the bar for 30 minutes or more in the same situation.
