Hero's Journey Fitness is a nerdy, class-based gym in Burbank, California, dedicated to the conviction that health and fitness training should be accessible to everyone, including our fellow nerds & geeks. We train the body and the mind, with an emphasis on self-care, resilience, skill, form, and fun, all on a foundation of compassion and collaboration, not competition.
Our memberships are priced to help ensure access for as many nerds as possible (while maintaining our staff & class offerings). We want you to be able to afford a gym membership and that trip to GenCon. HJF knows every person's Journey is different, whether you're a nerd or a muggle, so we offer a wide variety of classes to help everyone get strong and healthy, because Fitness Belongs to Everyone.

Services
Hero's Journey Fitness was founded in 2019 by Christy Black and David Nett to serve their nerd community by providing health and fitness guidance. We operate on the fundamental belief that every person deserves access to thoughtful, individual guidance toward a long and healthy life, free of the shame and competition that fuels so much of the fitness industry.
