Estate planning can be challenging regardless of what your net worth is. We understand that not everyone has millions of dollars but we also understand you want control over who gets your assets after your death. Generally, you can ensure your assets are distributed per your wishes by having a will in place.
However, there are many more considerations than asset distribution which should go into an overall estate plan. In addition to a will, you may also wish to have a living will and powers of attorney for both your finances and your medical care.

Services
I have been drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance medical directives, etc., since joining the Air Force in 2007, and continue to do so as a reservist Judge Advocate General. I have always loved and appreciated being able to assist military members and their families by providing estate planning services and am truly thrilled to be able to bring my skills to my home state of South Carolina.
Chances are if you are like most people under 50, you haven't given much thought to preparing a will. However, regardless of the size of your estate, your marital status and your age, having a will in place makes good sense. We never know what life will send our way and ensuring your assets are. The testamentary trust is one of the most useful types of trusts, providing many advantages to the grantor.
One of the most important things I tell my clients is that a little preparation goes a long way to preventing long-term family discord. For example, when Momma's will leaves "everything to my four sons, " how are they to divide out Momma's worldly goods in a way that is fair and equitable? What if one.

The testamentary trust is one of the most useful types of trusts, providing many advantages to the grantor. Unlike a living trust that is created during the lifetime of the grantor, a testamentary trust is created in a will and goes into effect upon the death of the grantor. This can preserve assets and give the decedent some measure of control over them, even after he or she has passed away.

Anne Marie came to our house to help us with a POA for my father who is a Veteran of the USMC. When I took the document to be recorded with the county, the clerk commented on how well-written the documented was!! I thought this was a great compliment and testimate to the work she does for Veterans!!
