My mom was under hospice care in my home. I called "shopping" prices of the cost to cremate my mom. Of the 3 places my sisters and I called, we were not only impressed with the cost, BUT more importantly with the sympathy, care, and almost family like feel. The funeral director, Bob, was so empathetic to our situation, guiding and advising on what the steps are and how he would be handling things. He even answered our call at about 1-2am when my mom passed and was able to send his staff to pick up my mom about that time. That alone meant so much! Bob is one of the most caring individuals!!! He has gone above and beyond during such a difficult time. He treats us like family and we felt so loved and comforted and supported. The whole team, at Schielka Funeral home, was great and made sure everything was taken care of. We can't thank Bob, Kelly, & the team enough for everything they did for us.
