Here at Aiken Family Dentistry, our passion is in restoring smiles to their original condition. Whether that is by simply seeing you every six months for your cleaning or a more involved path to oral health, we are here for you. Our practice has been a pillar in the community for over 60 years. We are a family focused practice and see patients as young as one year old all the way to several patients who are well into their nineties.
Dentistry is founded on the principle of prevention. All patients are recommended at a minimum twice a year cleanings and examinations. Not only do they help you quash dental problems before they arise, they leave your gums healthier, and your teeth cleaner and whiter. A professional cleaning removes hard plaque that cannot be removed by brushing and flossing alone.
We wanted to find a way to make ideal dentistry more attainable for our patients who don't have conventional dental insurance or are frustrated with their current plans. In 2021, we rolled out our office membership program. There are no waiting periods, no annual maximums, no waiting on predeterminations and no non-covered services.

My former dentist, Dr. Rebecca Tafel retired; and I am now a patient of Dr. Aiken. He and his staff are excellent in their professionalism in dealing with patients in explaining the dental procedures that will occur during the office visit. They are punctual with the appointment time and make the patient totally comfortable during the entire time of the session.

I never have to wait more than 5 min. The staff are 5-star! Very friendly and informative. The dentists and hygienist are top in their class. They really know their trade. Mia, my hygienist, was very delightful and knows her stuff. Also, she was very efficient. I was in and out in no time with a great cleaning. They will work with you on price and insurance too!

That was the best dentist visit I have ever had!!! The staff was so personable, listened to my concerns, and took time to review the records from my previous dentist so we were on the same page. We came up with a game plan to deal with some of my dental concerns. I felt at home in their office and highly recommend.

I started going to Dr. Tafel first, and then when she started to wind her practice down, I began to see Dr. Aiken. I can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone is very nice, things are run efficiently, and the location is convenient. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a new place to get dental work done!
