With a general contractor's license, Janet and Jim expanded to J&J Newton Building in 1987. JB hung her shingle as JB Newton Engineering in 1996, and with their combined talents, JB a PE and Jim a CAD draftsperson, they began J&J Newton Inc. in 2005 with design, drafting, and engineering services. Jim and Janet have been married 230 years and have had four children and eight grandchildren.

We work closely with Building Departments to get As-Built Plans permitted.

From your concept sketch we will provide you with preliminary drawings illustrating your basic floor plans and elevations.
