I've owned my auto business for over 27 years and have a solid track record with the Bureau of Auto Repair. I've held mechanics ASE certification in engine performance, brakes, suspension and steering, and engine tune-up. I could tell you about some of my experiences before starting my own business, like the 200 plus engine overhauls and valve jobs I performed by the time I was 22.

I was moving out of the area to Florida and took my 1969 Camaro Pace Car to another shop for an intake manifold leak and front main seal oil leak. The other shops repairs were not good and they delivered it on the day I was supposed to leave driving 3000+ miles.
ET Muscle Cars (Ernie) took on the job and made the repairs in a very short period of time enabling me to confidently get on the road. ET Muscle Cars are true ROCK STARS in classic American car repair and restoration. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship was superb. Needless to say I had no issues going the 3000 mile road

I bought a 69 Camaro sight unseen and when it was delivered it had a running issue...or more accurately a stalling issue. I looked for a local muscle car repair shop and found ET Muscle Cars on Yelp with good reviews. It was not an easy fix as there were a few issues going on at the same time with the car, but the owner, Ernie was very upfront and honest about what needed to be done and he was determined to get all of the issues figured out. Overall great experience and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

I researched online for the best place to take my first generation Firebird. ET Muscle Cars had good ratings, so I dropped by to get a look. Once I talked to Ernie, I knew this was the place for me. They took their time and did quality work, not to mention top of the line workmanship. Ernie and his staff repeatedly went above and beyond with this project and it showed. Pricing was straight forward and if anything changed, I would receive a call to make sure I agreed to the work before it was done. Not only did my Firebird come out as promised, but it far exceeded my expectations! Excellent choice

Took my 69 Chevelle over to these guys for no start issues and Ernie had her running the same day he looked at it. He really knows his stuff. Excellent customer service and he even made time to chat about my goals for the car moving forward. I will only be going to him from now on. So good to know there are still good trustworthy shops and people out there!

My wife and I decided in 2013 to do an extensive restoration and modification of our 1968 Ford Mustang that was deteriorating day after day in our driveway. We checked several shops, but found the crew at ET Muscle Cars behaved like a family who enjoyed working on classic cars and that was the spirit we were looking for. Every area of the car was refurbished and or improved. I've held my tongue for a while, but feel I should share my experience with others. I have a 62 Pontiac Tempest Lemans convertible that needed some engine work to get it running right. I contacted Gearheads Garage and they referred me to ET Muscle Cars, since I wasn't doing a full restoration. I talked with Ernie, a very nice guy and owner of ET, and a date was set when they would be able to work on my engine. I have a 1966 Chevelle which has been in my family since the early 1970s which I recently took to ET Muscle Cars. The car was restored by my stepfather and I between 2004-2006, but it had quite a few "loose ends". I took it to another (nameless) shop in Sacramento where I was extremely disappointed. They rushed the job, cut corners, and overcharged. I found ET here on Yelp, and I was impressed with the quality of the cars coming out of their shop. What a great place! Wanted to take my mustang somewhere close to my work to get a gear swap so I ended up finding this place. They finished in a day and its been about a month with the new gears and NO problems at all! I also took my hood over to get painted and was nervous I wouldn't find a place that could match it perfectly. They ended up doing an AMAZING job on it and the paint is a 100% match. Great stuff from this shop! I trust their work.

These people are top notch!
Not only do they get the job done in a timely manner, but they help save us money. There have been numerous times where there is a less expensive fix and they have gone over our options with us and we always leave satisfied.
