We meet at the Waterloo about every 2 weeks for breakfast . I always usually order the same thing each time. Today I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, sliced potatoes an English muffin. A few of always get the muffins. We were told we can’t serve them on weekdays only weekends. I said but just 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday we were able to them and no one told us this. She said well we aren’t supposed to sell them on weekdays. Is this true? Some are diabetic and these are the alternative to bread. The server was very nice and very attentive and I know this is not her fault but I guess we need to find somewhere

I was having tires put on my car and was told it would be awhile. The man at the counter gave me two $5 tokens provided by the restaurant which was next door so I went to grab a bite to eat. I was a little surprised at first because I always thought it was a place to hold wedding receptions and the like so I believe they need to better advertise that they are a restaurant. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. The prices for food were pretty standard. I was seated immediately and the wait time on my food was about 10-15 minutes. Just meh - nothing special. Husband & I met another couple here for dinner on a Thursday eve. Food was just OK - I had a sandwich - extra fries (very small portion) are $1.75 - not worth it. My sandwich was on the small side. Husband was just meh about his dinner, too. We chose this location because we knew it would not be crowded - not something we want during COVID. So in that regard - you'll feel really comfortable. Waiter (new) wasn't great - but waddled through. Came to take our plates away too soon. All in all, not on our "favorite" list. It's clean & comfortable.

Food can be hit or miss sometimes but they have my favorite French onion soup. The staff are so sweet and accommodating. Made small talk with our waitress about how we just graduated school and she gave us a slice of pie on the house! Really feels like the small town restaurants from back in the day (or so I’m told as I am still fairly young lol)
