Regardless of your goals, our training focuses on mastering the simple tasks and understanding general concepts before moving to more skill-based endeavors, building a foundation that has the potential to withstand the rigorous obstacles that life throws at us, in sports, personal fitness pursuits, or simply during daily living.
Regarding nutrition, we pride ourselves on avoiding the fad "cookie cutter" meal plans. No one likes to feel like they are "on a diet." With Jacobs Fitness, we use a macro based flexible dieting approach, which unlike stereotypical restrictive diets, gives you the freedom to include your favorite foods, while still hitting your target macros.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sean and Laura during my first year in college when I had reignited my interest in fitness. As soon as you speak with them and begin working with them, you can see the passion and the time they have invested in perfecting their techniques. I had to leave the Tampa area for a bit, but when I came back I reached back out to Laura for some more guidance.

Sean is absolutely incredible. I have worked with high-level trainers since I was 16 playing sports my whole life, Sean is top tier. With three knee surgeries and several lingering injuries I never felt fully healthy for a long time. After going to Sean he put me on a program where we worked on flexibility , pliability, and overall bodyweight strength before we even touched weights. A lot of warming up and stretching.. which was tedious but it was a mr Miyagi moment once we started lifting and increasing the intensity of the workouts… no pain, stronger, faster, more durable. Sean was extremely knowledgeable about fitness and mobility. Before I went to him I was having lower back pain and extreme tightness is my hamstring. He helped me re-learn how to lift properly. I have been going to him for 2 months now and I have seen improvements in my posture, flexibility and muscle growth. I now know how to properly active my muscles instead of just throwing around heavy weights. I highly recommend training with him if you are having any of the problems I was having. He saved my back and helped me achieve my goals!

When I suffered an injury over two years ago I explored every avenue, in not only relieving my pain, but also in getting my quality of life back. I can not express how vital this is to have Sean train you. he has fixed my hips and now my shoulders are next. I was plateauing in athletics and then doing these exercises through the app took me to the next level. he even has knowledge outside of muscles such as breathing. make sure to ask him to teach you how to breath!

Jacobs Fitness was exactly what I was looking for in terms of improving my mobility and getting a solid foundation for my workouts and nutrition plan. After 2 rounds of physical therapy and a vascular surgeon telling me I could not lift weights if I wanted to treat my thoracic outlet syndrome, Sean helped me reached the finish line with clearing my symptoms pretty much completely. Sean is a down to earth guy and helps you in a very detailed manner with the in person training. If you go the route of online training, their personal built app is very detailed and you can tell Sean puts amount of effort

I took a trail run out in beautiful Colorado recently and had a moment of deep gratitude for Sean and jacobs fitness. The App is simple, well organized, and very user friendly. The personalized content integration of the programming with the calendar is great. The videos are super digestible and make it easy to follow the movements. And the training is top notch. I’ve gotten rid of both hip and ankle pain in a few shorts. I’ve also improved my squat form and am getting stronger because I’m moving more naturally again. I can’t recommend this app and the content enough! Sean is phenomenal. He meets you where you are and helps you get where you want to be.

At first I wasn't sure if I would like working out with a male personal trainer but my friend highly recommended him so I went in for a consult. I instantly liked him! He makes you feel very comfortable and I like his approach to training. Sean is focused not only on helping you look your best but your long term health & mobility. He's pretty funny too which helps when it comes to the tougher sessions. Sean is a solid guy and I can't recommend him enough if you are looking for a trainer who can maneuver around your busy schedule and will make sure you get impactful results both short and long term
