Pat Collins, a native Syracusan with college years spent in Albany and a Masters from SUNY Potsdam, landed here when my husband was offered a job. We arrived here with three children and soon after two more came becoming North Country born. Though offered positions in other places, we felt this was a wonderful place to raise a family and so we did!
Originally from the Buffalo area, I have lived in The North Country since 1973. My husband Tim and I raised our twin sons in Canton and truly love The North Country and all it has to offer. I owned two retail stores in the area- the Colonial House Gift Shop for 21 years and All That Glitters for 5 years.
A lifetime Canton native and 1996 Clarkson University Graduate, I left the area for 10 years only to return and raise my family here. I've been back in Canton since 2006 and although I miss Colorado, I can't imagine a better place to raise my family.

My husband and I were raised in Canton and both graduated from Canton High School. After graduation I attended SUNY Canton. After marrying in 1983 we moved away. During that time we lived in many different places and had three boys. In 1997 I earned my real estate license and worked for a broker in Central New York.
I grew up in Canton, NY and attended school at Canton Central School. After marrying my husband, he took a job in North Eastern Kentucky, where we lived for 2.5 years. Since his family is from Russell, NY and mine is from Canton, NY, we knew we had to move back "home". In 2014 we bought our home using Pat Collins Real Estate & Pat Collins herself.
