Due to leaving the roofing company I was working for of 18 years I decided I wanted to get my own license and I went one step farther and got my builders license. We have a 1955 home with the original fence in the back courtyard. The fence was in bad, rusty, falling apart condition. We had some companies come out and try to talk us in to putting in an aluminum replacement, but we wanted iron. One company came out and just didn't call us back. Then we found Above The Rest Construction. Shannon came out and told us how great our fence was and understood it would be better to keep the original. He and his crew were excellent. Call this company if you want a fence installed. Kane and Omar are awesome! They Told me everything they were doing. Kane noticed the gate where it was supposed to be originally placed could potentially not open correctly he told me of different ways they could place it because the lawn was not level. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that wants to build a fence.

This company took advantage on my recently widowed elderly mother. Mikel was rude, unprofessional, yelled at my mother and myself. He rushed a 2 day job to get it done in one day. We hired him to replace our back door and remold a small bathroom. The floor is uneven, the drywall work wasn't sanded down before painting, the doors were only painted halfway down, door jams hacked up, back door dead bolt will not lock, and he left our toilet leaking into our basement. We called him the next day to let him know, he told us he would charge us more to fix his mistakes. He is a total fraud please

Mikel Sewell is arrogant and obnoxious. Told me to get the hell out of my own room while installing a door when I asked questions. He had an obnoxious attitude toward me as soon as he arrived. He destroyed my doorbell rerouting it for a storm door and then had the gall to charge me a second service fee when he came back. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON. I have notified Menards to remove him from their recommended list

I was very pleased from beginning to end with Above The Rest Construction. It was great to work directly with the owner, and he was very patient with me as we went back and forth multiple times trying to decide what type of fence to go with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a fence or any other contractor work done.
