Over 30 years of construction and design experience. I have been in the design business for over 23 years designing and engineering plans for houses, barns, garages remodeling projects. Licensed General Contractor since 2007 Abacoa Construction C.G.C. 1513481. I have been remodeling, building and doing construction projects since 2004.
I worked in the construction industry from 1983 until 1995 then went to college to learn computer aided design and earned a AS degree in design. Once out of college, I started Coral Key Design Inc and begun designing and engineering house plans for builders and owner-builder clients. I have been in the kitchen design/custom cabinet building field for over 30 years, specializing in both new construction and home remodeling.

Services
The Lockfield Home is an off the grid home that our first to combat against dirty electricity. Solar panels, skylights and thermal concrete walls all work together to trap heat and power this home. Non-toxic materials were used as well. The Hooper Home is a restored farm house that features all green materials.

Went to these guys a few months ago, i heard mixed input about these guys from other associates in construction; but i must confess, you should understand; anyone can say anything on here and make it seem like someone else is the bad guy. I will say this, these guys are the real deal, I looked into them and found they've been in business in this town one way or the other for over 20 years. And I personally know people who have worked with the owner in his younger years, and he has done construction his whole life, from swinging a hammer, to becoming a contractor with countless houses built under

I recommended Mark to my brother-in-law to help him design and engineer a residential addition. Big Mistake!! Mark took it upon himself to include a setback value for the structure that was not correct and the drawings were rejected by the building department. When asked to revise the drawings to include the correct setback he demanded an additional $700 to make the correction. He insisted that it is the customer's responsibility to inform him of the correct setback, even though this was never mentioned and he never asked for it. Mark was reluctantly paid the additional money and it is now 7 months

This is my second project with Mark and his team and I am highly satisfied with their design, availability and professionalism.
They have made the necessary revisions that I or the City of West Palm Beach requested and all my plans were accepted.
Mark is a phone call away when I have a question or need assistance.
He has also been of great assistance by recommending licensed contractors to perform my renovation.

Ripped Off!! Contracted for elevations, floor plans, and engineering plans for a historic renovation. He took the money, but failed to deliver the promised plans .. and despite promises to do so ... failed to refund unused funds. See the multiple warnings & complaints on BBB reviews .. I should have heeded the warnings ... don't make my mistake. Do business with Jenkins/Coral Key at your own risk!!!
