Now you can schedule an appointment online for most of the services we offer, such as exams, imaging, shots and vaccinations, heartworm testing, and more! Requested appointments are confirmed quickly, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred day and time. We offer a wide range of specialized services for small and large animals alike, from spays and neuters to more comprehensive services, like wound therapy and repair.
Here at KVC, cold laser therapy is one approach we use to assist damaged tissue and muscle in the healing process. It is also used to lesson pain and inflammation of infected and damaged areas due to skin abrasions, lesions, and other epidermal and muscular damage. The mechanism behind the approach is that the light of the laser stimulates the mitochondria of skin and muscle cells to regenerate.
Often in less than 20 minutes, we perform complete blood counts ("CBC's"), thyroid testing, phenobarbital blood level testing, quantitative progesterone, hemoglobin A1c, evaluations of liver, kidney and pancreas values. With this battery of on-site testing capability, we can more quickly and easily provide you with a definitive diagnoses of your animal, allowing us to start effective treatment quicker and get your pet on the path to healing.
Just as in humans, good dental hygiene is essential in the overall health of your pet. Poor dental health can lead to serious health problems, and sometimes even death. And we at KVC are here to help your dog, cat, and horse maintain good dental and overall health. Good dental hygiene is important at any age, and we recommend that your pet's teeth and gums be checked at least once a year, or more if you have concerns.
As with ourselves, it is important that your pet receive routine preventative care to ensure the quality of their overall health and well-being. Preventative care, through yearly check-ups, help pet owners stay ahead of many illnesses and conditions that could develop in the future. And the routine visits to our office for a yearly check-up are much less costly than a visit once a problem has occurred.

Took our puppy to get second round of vaccinations and days later puppy was very sick vomiting had been no where else besides the vet and tried calling being a current patient thought I’d hear something back, dog was sick our family was scared and never got a call back after leaving a very detailed message and our concerns. called during operating hours and never got a hold of anyone. Our puppy had contracted parvo and the only place we had been was to kiamichi veterinarian clinic. When we called to let them know what had happened they were rude and not receptive we asked to speak with the veterinarian

I could write a book how I feel about Kiamichi Veterinary Clinic. Beside being professional everyone there has compassion for all fur babies. They never give up. I have been going there four years now. My last visit was a stressful time for me. Everyone takes the time to explain things Sometimes twice for me. Prices are great. If you want a excellent place to take your fur babies, this is the place. Thank you doesn’t seem enough.

My Sweet Lou needed surgery to remove a fatty mass on her belly and a spay. I was worried sick about her the whole time, but the folks at Kiamichi Veterinary Clinic were amazing! They were super caring and sweet. Very knowledgeable and reassuring that everything was going smooth and it would be a simple procedure. They answered my 5000 questions and never seemed annoyed one bit, even after I called multiple times because I'm a forgetful mess. We are new to town and needed a good vet for our fur babies. I know exactly where they'll be going from now on. Thank yall again, so much!
