Our practice has been serving the Southwest Virginia community for more than 65 years! Dr. Grant Throckmorton's grandfather started the practice back in 1952. His father joined in 1980, and the practice was eventually purchased in 1987 by he and Dr. Copenhaver. Dr. Grant Throckmorton joined the practice in 2017 and recently purchased the practice from Dr. Copenhaver.
Dr. Throckmorton followed in his grandfather Dr. O.J. Campbell) and father's (Dr. Dennis Throckmorton footsteps into the dental profession. He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in 2008 and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2017.
