The Emic Center

The Emic Center is a mental health counseling practice with a multicultural focus. Our approach to therapy is culturally sensitive. We highlight and integrate each client's cultural values, morals, and beliefs to provide support, guidance, and encouragement. We are dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults become more confident and culturally competent individuals.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus on multicultural counseling. I am passionate about working with culturally diverse clients on matters related to their social environment, identity development, and mood disorders. I also specialize in treating those experiencing acculturation difficulties, discrimination, and microaggressions.
