Foresite Group was founded in 2003 by three engineers taking advantage of an opportunity to strike out on their own. That same drive and willingness to take calculated risks and keep the door open for opportunities has allowed us to grow from two offices offering Land Development and Wireless Services to 16 offices nationwide supporting six practice areas.
As development partners who understand how to collaborate with clients and peers to produce the best product, our engineers provide everything from due diligence investigations to construction phase services. It's more than plant material. Our landscape architects consider all aspects of a site, including building orientation, flow of traffic, pedestrian use, topography, and more.
From due diligence investigations to construction phase services, our Land Development team does it all. So, what sets us apart from other civil engineering groups? Our people. We have engineers with personality who can do more than design a site; our engineers are development partners who can communicate effectively.
There is the perception that Landscape Architecture only involves plant material, but the practice involves many more elements than that. Our site design approach is all encompassing and considers the building's orientation on the property, the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, topography, existing vegetation, the ultimate desired use of the space, etc.
Whether it's the historical rehabilitation of a 120-year old school house to the design of a new primary school, or the design of the local park pavilion to the planning and design of a multi-use development complex, we do it all. Our engineers work closely with clients and other design team members to understand the needs of each project and provide effective and creative solutions.
