It all starts when they answer the phone. You just get this feeling that you're in the right place. They treat your loved one with dignity when they come to transport them to the funeral home. You are not rushed when you go to make the arrangements. They professionally handled the final arrangements 15 years ago, for our Dearly Beloved Mother. Mrs. Patricia Ann (King) Brown. When I called Pye Funeral Home my call was promptly returned. They had the best price and terms for the service that I and my family were looking for. The funeral director was friendly, welcoming, thorough and helpful at every stage of the process. From providing a letter we needed for our insurance claim, directing us as to where we may get supplemental financial support to helping us determine the number of death certificates, we got everything we asked for.
The front desk receptionist, as well as entire staff were very good in their respective roles. I would recommend Ozie Pye III funeral home

They made my family feeled cared for, and heard, during an extremely difficult and emotional process. Our father made his wishes known which included OH Pye specifically handling his arrangements. TOLD 2 HRS B4 VIEWING I BROUGHT WRONG INS POLICY HUSBAND BEEN THERE 10 DAYS NO ONE CALLED ME WOULD NOT HAVE SERVICE UNLESS PAID IN FULL $10,300 SERVICE INTERRUPTED TO START ANOTHER SERVICE AWARDED $1500 GRANT THEY WONT RETURN TOOK 60 DAYS FOR DEATH CERTIFICATE. On Wednesday August the 25th the going home of Annie Scott (Hadassah), was the worst experience ever, we were on time and was rushed out quickly. We did not get a chance to complete the program on the obituary, nor was able to read it. We were limited to 3 people for remarks of deceased, barely got that opportunity.
We did not get a chance to sing or anything of that nature. They just took the family money, with no sympathy for the family or the deceased

Pray that your loved ones do you use this funeral home should you pass away. They are over-priced -- very expensive -- and they want all of the money up front before visitation begins. They charge a small fortune to send the necessary information to the county's Vital Records Departments; however, they do not do so until they are called multiple times to inquire about what caused the holdup. Everyone who answers the phone is very polite; however, no one can ever answer questions without speaking with either Mr. or Mrs. Pye -- who are NEVER there. Forget about getting return calls. Just want to thank Terry for helping my family with one of the hardest things we have had to do . Bury our mother. He help as get her from another funeral home that held up our process and got the ball rolling. So professional and caring. He got everything going as soon as I met with him. My experience at the funeral home on the business Ian was terrible. My father was laid to rest on January 25. I was told that it would take for five business days for his insurance money to come through. But on the fourth day I received a phone call saying that the insurance money wasn’t available and I need to pay for my father‘s funeral out of my… pocket. Which I did on the fourth day. The same thing happened at the cemetery but they were more willing and more flexible to work with me the cemetery called the insurance company on the day of my father‘s funeral January

Pye funeral home has been beyond rude to me over an incident that was completely their fault. I ordered flowers from their website on 4/2/2020. They were delivered 4/3/2020. After attending my stepmoms funeral, I noticed my flowers were not there. I called the funeral home for days. Every time I spoke to someone who was extremely rude. No one had… any idea that you could even order flowers from their main website. They kept telling me I need to contact the company I ordered the flowers from. After receiving a number for their outside company who to my surprise was really nice, I explained

Laid my baby sister to rest and Kelly was amazing and facilitated a wonderful service for us. I loved that they last Ya off to her because she familiarized herself with us and was able to relate to a lost sister as she had a lost a sister previously.
