Services
Care First's office, clinical and therapy staff are carefully screened and selected during the employment process. Each receives continuous professional training and development that is specifically related to providing the best care to you. We provide in-house training in a room designed to mimic a home setting with a simulation mannequin.
Skilled nursing services provide dedicated care for complex medical issues in the comfort of the home. If you or a loved one is recovering from surgery, dealing with an injury, or requires care for a chronic condition, Care First has trained and dedicated medical professionals ready to help. Care First Home Care's skilled nursing is provided by our caring Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses on an intermittent basis.
Physical Therapy (PT) is for patients with lower body function issues; from strokes, post-operative spine, hip, knee, foot and ankle surgeries or generalized weakness. They will be focusing on strengthening, balance, and mobility. Maintaining mobility is important for people of all ages. After a serious injury or illness many people find it difficult to resume their regular daily tasks.
Occupational Therapists (OT) focus on the everyday basic activities we occupy ourselves with such as eating, bathing, dressing, and grooming as well as personal care, diet, and daily routine. Challenges performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) can be a real struggle for individuals. Occupational therapy services from Care First Home Care help you or your loved one manage everyday tasks after a serious illness or injury.
Losing the ability the properly communicate is one of the most frustrating of medical conditions. Struggling to understand others or be understood presents a real challenge during recovery. Major medical issues such as a stroke, cancer of the throat, or other ailments and injuries can lead to communication impairment caused by cognitive and muscular problems.

Tried to get my wife PT/OT and speech therapy last fall. Our PCP fax over all information and we waited. However I had to go back and forth with this their admission office because they kept not getting the documents from the PCP (allegedly). After this banter for days and days I was then told my wife was denied from admission because she had a trach tube. Fair enough. My wife now does not have a trach tube. The PCP sent my wife’s orders back to the office. Had to wait days and days because they didn’t get the faxed paperwork. Then I was told they didn’t provide speech therapy. I called the

We just had our first home visit from Care First, and Marisa was awesome. Both my MIL and myself feel very comfortable, and so fortunate to have such a great nurse assigned to us. Care First is so easy to work with, incredibly responsive, and everyone is really nice. Definitely a great company for home health.

Recently my spouse became disabled and I was blessed to have this company recommended by me hospital case manager. I met the administrator personally and knew from that point that this company would take great care of my wife. Their office staff is friendly and their nurses near altruistic. If you need home health care in this city, Care First Home Care is the way to go.
