I've worked in various positions at Good Life since 2014. As a long term member of Good Life, I always loved taking Group Fitness classes. In 2014, I decided to pursue teaching while working my 9-5 job. A few years later, my love of teaching and helping others through fitness continued to grow, and as my personal focus shifted, I decided to make a career change.
Spending time with friends and family, Husker athletics, competing in Spartan Age Group Racing, and other local races. Riding horses, biking and being outside. Athletic background includes HS athletics, collegiate basketball, OCR racing and Competitive Age Group Spartan Racing. I love raising my four kids who are all super active, and love to participate in athletics.
I have three very active kids. Baseball, football, cheer, horseback riding, hunting & fishing you name it, they do it! We are a very busy bunch! I love going to concerts and sporting events. Go Huskers! I throw the best parties, entertaining friends and family is one of my favorite things to do outside of our everyday life.

The people who workout here have no gym etiquette. The gym itself is fine. If there is a class there is zero floor space to use, because the only floor space is in the rooms they use for class, but we’ve just planned our workout times around them.
My boyfriend has worked out here consistently for over four years, and I switched to Good Life in April. The past two months it has gotten terrible. I’d say 90% of the people who workout here now are incredibly disrespectful to others and have zero gym etiquette. For example, there is one guy who will set his phone on one machine, his sweatshirt

Critical: Professionalism
Was working out there for years. Stopped me as I was checking in to give me a warning about smelling body odor from a previous visit. Suggested I find different deodorant. Im 26 and in shape with minimal body odor.. hopefully your experience is better with them, I’m obviously going to find somewhere else.

Horrible management who treat employees terrible if one thing does not go their way. I went in with issues involving my manager but had no one to go to because my manager was also my HR. So nothing could be handled properly and then was cursed at by the owner calling me a liar and a "chickensh**".. highly unprofessional and childish when it comes to running a business and treating their staff right.

Local gym that seems to be running based off of huge conflicts of interest. Have had acquaintances, friends, and family members who have worked here and had good reviews of their employment, however once they decide to leave (giving a 2-week notice) and take employment elsewhere, they become blackballed from using the gym. Somehow the gym manager also works as a one person HR manager. If another job contacts this gym for an employment recommendation, everything said will be negative. It's as if the HR manager takes employees leaving as a personal affront. This place has lost a lot of respect and

For the most part I like the gym, its been years since I went and was not pressured into doing amything outside of what I was comfortable with. The staff has been great. Only complaint, well its not really a complaint is that I wish the womens only section was bigger and had treadmills in there to make it more comfortable for those women who would like more privacy while working out. Other than that so far so good. Have been going for a couple months now trying to work up to the classes.

Great gym to workout in cause they provide the necessary equipment. The only thing is there is no open floor space in the main area to do flexibility, mobility, or ab workouts. The two spare rooms are nice for this problem but they are pretty well reserved for group classes a majority of the day. It’s super frustrating when I have to consistently change my workout to accommodate for space. The east location did a great job of making sure there was an area for this, but they need to reduce the amount of equipment in the main room at west location to open it up. So it doesn’t feel like everyone

I've managed two gym chains in two other states before moving to Lincoln. Good Life has everything I want in a gym. It's clean, there's more than enough equipment, and the staff is friendly and reasonable, and the rates are completely reasonable for a gym this size.
Pausing my membership when I was swamped with school was a breeze, as was re-starting - A lot of people complain about fighting over finances and checking accounts with gym chains. I've been on both sides of that table. This has NEVER been a problem for me at Good Life.
There are a lot of dedicated lifters working

I wish I could give a zero. Went in and asked to cancel membership 3 months ago and left happily. Found out today that they just suspended my account and have been billing me monthly for the past 3 months. The horrible company didn't work with me or even help in any way whatsoever. All they said was to file an appeal. Horrible company to do business with.

Did a drop in bootcamp when in town on business. Wanted to keep with my routine and this place definitely hit that target. Steven led the session and the selection and range of activities really kept my heart going. I was thankful when the hour was over but felt great for the rest of the day, will definitely be dropping in again next time I'm in town.

Highly motivated staff. Boot camp classes can't be beat! Multitude and variety of classes heald all day to fit your schedule. Wide variety of gym equipment available. Gym hours say they are open at 5 am but doors open before that. I've been there at 4:30am and doors were open. First boot camp starts at 5 am. I've never felt intimidated by the clientele. There are all fitness levels and all are made to feel welcome.
