The Center For Christian Counseling is a non-denominational organization dedicated to serving Jesus Christ by serving the commuinty. The Center has been located in Valparaiso since 1984. The founders, Elsie Norem and Mary Ann Carter believe that counseling which addresses the spiritual, as well as the psychological part of our being, enables a person to establish their own God-given identity.
Christian counseling encourages the freedom to fully love God, ourselves, and others. The Center's approach emphasizes reality as defined by Holy Scripture; a commitment to change; and a vital relationship to Christ as Saviour and Lord. Rather than a problem-oriented emphasis, the Center promotes hope in God-centered solutions.
