Hello, we are Dr. Nicholas Slater and Dr. Kelly Slater. Dr. Kelly grew up on Long Island, NY and Dr. Nick grew up in Yuma, AZ. We met when we attended Arizona State University in 2007. From there we completed our higher educations at University of Nebraska, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University, and Midwestern University.

Our office provides a wide range of general, restorative, and cosmetic dental care for patients of all ages. Periodontal Disease (also known as gum disease or periodontal infection) is an ongoing bacterial infection in the gums and bone around your teeth. This infection leads to an inflammation under the gums, and if not treated, this inflammation can destroy the bone around your teeth.
A missing tooth is more than a cosmetic annoyance. The gaps created by missing teeth can invite bacteria and infection, can compromise a patient's ability to eat and speak correctly, and can allow adjacent teeth to shift their positioning. Garrett is the absolute BEST!! He’s been my Hygenist for a few years. It’s obvious that he loves what he does. He is highly knowledgeable; a true expert in best practice. I am so impressed with the great service I was given. I got an appointment the same day (because of a cancellation) and was all ready to go when I got to the office. X-rays and cleaning all done same day by Garrett who was such a joy to be around. Great sense of humor and did an amazing job. Dr. Nick took the time to talk to me about options in treatment and I so appreciate that. I have to thank Melissa and Stacy also for making this a great experience for me.

When Slater Family Dentistry says family they mean. They treat you like family. I had a temporary crown fall off Saturday I call early this morning I was able to see Mr. Dr. Slater this afternoon. They redid a temp crown for me right away so I’m back in business. I would recommend the Slater’s for all your dentistry needs.

I am in the process of getting a bridge from Dr. Slater. Dr. Slater is so professional but so down to earth at the same time. I also had the honor of meeting her wonderful husband that will be joining the team very soon and I felt like I knew him forever. They are both so caring and they have four of the cutest kids ever. My husband had dental… work done at the same time and he felt the same.
Their staff is so kind as well. Eloisa assisted in my care and is always so gentle and caring.
