Services
A funeral or memorial is a customary way to recognize death and its finality. Funerals are held for the living to show respect for the dead and to help survivors begin the grief process. They also give mourners a chance to share stories, create memories, fulfill religious beliefs & customs, participate in a support system, and gather at a peaceful place during a time of confusion and uncertainty.
Holding a funeral or memorial service for your loved one is a positive first step in the grieving process. Family members and friends get a chance to say their goodbyes, and at the same time, they get to share strong feelings with one another. In the days, weeks and months following the service, people continue to need others to lean on for understanding, encouragement and guidance.
Today, more and more people recognize the emotional and financial advantages of planning their funeral in advance. Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance.
The Department of Veterans' Affairs provides information on memorial benefits, health services, life insurance programs and more. The Social Security Administration allows survivors to report the death of the loved. The site also provides information on potential benefits that can be claimed by the survivors.
Bereavement, derived from the root "reave", meaning to rob or forcibly deprive, is a state an individual enters when they have been deprived or robbed of something of value. Grief is the bereaved person's internal emotional response to that loss. There is a process that the bereaved goes through to make sense of the loss and to begin to heal.

Dr. Terry Wright and Staff at the Wright & Young Funeral Home is indeed a service that can't be replaced or duplicated by any other Funeral Homes, not only in the South Florida Areas, but surrounding areas too. The Signature Services they provide are TOP NOTCH! Indeed, the assists, supports, and minister to the Bereaved!

Thank you to the Wright & Young funeral home. They did a wonderful job on my father they did everything that I ask them to do. They was very patient and caring they took their time and answered all questions me and my family had. Mr. Terry and his staff are really some awesome people they go above and beyond to help you out. The flowers for my son, Joshua Niblack's casket were absolutely beautiful. We asked for non-traditional tropical flowers and you all delivered, thank you. However, The 12-inch tube televisions that you all have is an insult to grieving families who want to share their loved one's memories.
When my family arrived on June 18th, for the viewing, we could not play the DVD because YOUR DVD player was outdated.
On June 20th, I called and spoke with Mr. Wright to track down Josh's necklace that he was wearing when he passed away. Mr. Wright told me that he would call Mr. Mason, at Clora Funeral Home

First and foremost they did a great job on my dad but everything went down hill from there, I sent a oak box to the funeral home to put my dad in then I called to make sure they got the box in time ( they did ) but sent my friend's to go and put him up because I just had gotten out of the hospital they sent my father in a card board box
So I called and ask them what happen to the box I sent them they are not sure they will look for it and they will call me back never got a call back,so I call the following day oh yes they found it "so when can you bring him back " once I did all this I ask them
