Stanfill Funeral Home has been an important and significant part of our community since 1956. The funeral home was established by W. L. Philbrick with Steve L. Stanfill, Jr. as manager. Through Steve Stanfill's years of hard work and commitment, Philbrick Funeral Home became Philbrick-Stanfill Funeral Home and then Stanfill Funeral Home.
Stanfill Funeral Home soon became synonymous with quality and caring service. Following the death of Steve L. Stanfill, Jr. in 2002, per his request, the funeral home continued under the ownership of his long-term funeral directors and his son. You are welcome to call us any time of the day, any day of the week, for immediate assistance.

I wish there was one word to describe our experience. The staff here is extremely professional, caring and compassionate. We had the pleasure of meeting Daniel Brisbine, who met and exceeded all of our expectations in the recent passing of our mom. Daniel ensured that everything went well. Daniel is in fact a true asset to the profession that others should emulate. On behalf of my family we all agree that from the moment we met him we knew that he was the right person to take care of mom. We were taking mom back to the islands and Daniel ensured that she looked fantastic and that everything was

There is no better choice than Stanfill for your loved one’s funeral. I would give 6/5 stars is I could! Every single staff member is so loving, helpful, attentive, and just goes above and beyond to make you feel taken care of and supported during a difficult time. Funeral homes have always creeped me out but there’s isn’t that way. They called us every day during the planning process and made everything easy, gave us laminated prayer cards, copies of all the flower cards that people sent, and a DVD of the memory slideshow. Thank you guys for all you do!

The Stanfill team is outstanding and highly compassionate. They helped me in the past with my father’s burial. With the recent passing of my mother, the first call was to them as I was confident that they would well guide me through my grief. In one’s lowest emotional point, I can think of no one other than Bill Martinez and Jay Gould that will so graciously support you. They have helped many of my friends over the last several decades. Look no further if you’re in need of services for the passing of a loved one. Stanfill Funeral Homes is truly the best!

If I could give a negative number to this place I would!!!!
The most horrible experience of my life was with the people who run this funeral home!
My mother died Febuary 21st, 2020 at home. The police suggested I call this place which I did. The first person Diane, who answered the phone was initially nice but then it became the worst nightmare!
They issued a death certificate for the 20th instead of the 21st. When I called back they were RUDE and wanted me to pay for the mistake. Then they sent an email to someone else instead of me to pick the urn for my mother and laughingly said she would

I recently had to use Stanfill Funeral, for the unfortunate passing of my father. Living in NYC, and him living in FL I didn't know what to do. Diane at Stanfill was a joy to work with. She made sure all the paperwork was completed and answered all my questions via phone/email before I arrived to Miami. As this was a hard thing to handle, and not knowing anything about funeral I am glad I found Stanfill to help me out during this hard time. I appreciate the kindness from the whole team. Thank you!
