Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with this office. The assistants doesn’t really care about what’s going on with your case, and sometimes provides information that contradicts with what Brian says. Instead of keeping me informed, I had to attain every piece of information from the employees, call and email them to get updates. Finally, it was easier for me to directly call the city agency, instead of waiting for news from this office. I have used this group twice to represent me when buying or selling property in New Jersey. I had a closing last month on my property in Union city where I was the seller. Kappock Law did a great job representing me especially since the buyer wanted to close in less than 30 days. I was skeptical that this would happen but it all worked out great. There were some last-minute negotiations which could have thrown the deal off but my attorney was able to negotiate with the buyer for a successful closing. I can highly recommend this law firm.

My husband and I are first time homebuyers and Brian was a great choice to help walk us through one of the most complicated and stressful things we have ever done. Most of the communication with Brian is through Rosa and she was very prompt with responses over email. Highly recommend Brian and his team! My husband and I bought our first house late last year and our realtor (who is also a trusted friend) recommended Brian as his preferred lawyer in the area. I had a very bad experience with this office. Brian was the lawyer who closed on a property I bought in Jersey City 7 years ago. He was the Settlement Agent (not the Title Company). The Title Company he used made a terrible mistake which resulted in my Title not being clear. I had no idea this happened until I went to sell the property this past January. Brian offered no assistance in clearing up this matter and blamed it on the Title Company. However Brian was the Settlement Agent and he should have seen this through so that it was fixed but he did not take any responsibility in the matter

I agree with Tatjana H. We had a very similar experience. I'm surprise he gets good reviews. We hired him based on these reviews & on someone's recommendation but was extremely disappointed. After the first initial phone conversation, he was impossible to get a hold of. Contracts have to be read carefully as what he says over the phone & what's written can be different such as his fees & hidden costs. In the end, we were too far along to change lawyers. I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. After this review was posted and we addressed our concerns the service improved a lot. I wish he would have been that determined from the beginning. It seemed he was worried that the contract fall through and that he would not get paid. I would not recommend him as it was a hustle in the beginning.

I closed a house in Bergen-Lafayette section of Jersey City with Brian in May 2015. His services came recommended by my realtor. He guided me towards a good lender after one I was ready to use required too much time to deliver the loan. He successfully achieved an extension from the seller and ensured that seller had done due diligence with removal of the oil tank. Closing was organized, thorough and swift. From the first time I spoke with Brian on the phone, I could tell this guy had experience. From the conditions of the particular condo sale I explained, he was able to give me a detailed summary of the challenges to expect - and yes it was a difficult sale because it was a condo conversion.
