I had seen an ad (10/12/21) for UMA & gave my contact for more information. Within 24 hours, I received that info. While speaking with the representative, Ozella, I received a second call from the same phone number that was already in use. I didn't answer, assuming it an error in the system. The info I received was well put & clear, however, when I expressed that I would not start the enrollment process for personal reasons, I felt as if I was being overly pushed by the rep to enroll same day. Once off the phone, 5 minutes later I receive a call from UMA from a "local" number

Do not go to this school! I went YEARS ago and called many MANY times to retake my X-ray boards and after I spent close to $25k I would have to retake the entire courses. So I spent the money for nothing. Literally. They put me in debt $25k. They promised a career, but in reality you get nothing but a huge bill. This school should be shut down.

I have to say from a working stand point- If you are not a hard worker and you can not focus and meet deadlines this is not the job for you. This job will turn into a career for very few people. Also as far as my experience went it was terrible. But that was just my situation.
As far as the education goes, it is expensive- but it is 100% online and it is in the nature of the school that makes it that way. Any online school is going to be that way. I can say from working here that the faculty (most of them) and administrative side do truly have a passion and care for the students and their education

I was told that my disbursement check was cut and mailed on 2/28/19 it is now 3/19/19 and i have yet to receive it and i have called multiple times and all i get is "it was put in the mail allow 7-10 business days" I spoke with the post master in Tampa as well as in Florissant where I live and I also have mail watch and I was told that either the school has prepared it and not sent it or it was just never sent. Then the school tells me that after 15-business days that they can stop payment and cut me a new check which will be another three week process. What I dont understand is that

Don't go to Ultimate Medical Academy!!!!! They are a absolute rip off. I tried it. I got a letter from them saying that I was eligible for a refund of over $1000 and now I'm not getting it. And they are expensive. And if you fail a course they put you right back into it multiple times until you pass it. This was my case with medical terminology. I took it 3 times back to back. And I was enrolled in another class after the first medical terminology class and after I did my first week work they put me back in medical terminology to where I was playing catch up. Not okay!!! If I could give

I graduate next month, and I am truly happy that I decided to choose UMA! Every person that I have spoken to on the phone have not only been genuinely enthusiastic, but also professional. The classes are very informative and offered me many resources to prepare me for my future career in Medical Coding!

What can I say about my school!! I love Ultimate Medical Academy. One of the best higher education schools I've ever attended. The professors are wonderful and everyone I've come in contact at UMA have been nothing short of helpful, courtesy, and professional. I'm currently an Ambassador for UMA and choosing UMA was the best decision I have ever made.
