The food was good but the portions had too much rice (vegetable plate) and not enough falafel (4 very small pieces). Also the baklava was very small which is disappointing even though it was tasty. But the worst part was the menu pricing which has most plates as 12.99 but they charge 15 bucks "if you don't pay with cash". Who has cash? Also if that's the case why does it not say so on the menu? Very deceptive. I don't usually dislike a restaurant but this is unnaceptable.

Wow... what a wonderful find! Starving after a basketball game and we go right to Yelp. Good news, it never disappoints:) This restaurant is delicious!! Food is fresh and customer service is awesome. The HUMUS is an absolute must:) all our other dishes (Falafel, lamb Kabob, lentil soup, Greek salad) were Great! Look no further for authentic delicious cuisine

Went to try Persian fine dining for dinner and I was not disappointed. Hidden gem in San Diego. They have the best Hummus that I have tried in the entire state. The bread that goes with it is also equally amazing and will have you wanting for more. Lamb shish kebab was also great. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommended and I am definitely coming back soon.

Such a huge disappointment, this was my go to for as long as as they've been around. The last three times literally three times I've had the worst food ever.
The hound beef was super dry and almost half the size, the chicken was over cooked and burnt edges and the rice was not even cooked.
I am truly disappointed to say I will not be coming back here.

Had some really delicious Persian food here. The authenticity of the food (from my point of view) was so much that I picked a random menu item and when we it arrived, I had no idea how to go about eating it. The lady who brought the food was kind enough to explain how to prepare it. The food was very good though. I'm definitely looking forward to eating here again.

I eat here often- at least 3 times a month for 2. Years. I order the same dinner - salmon kabob. I love the grilled veggies with the rice and salmon. However, I noticed the last 4 times I've been, the portion of salmon has been very small, and they no longer include the thin bread under the salmon! That was my favorite part- 4 stars for no bread - overall I recommend this place! Staff is friendly and food is amazing

The service is excellent, so friendly and family owned.
Food is wow! I am Persian and grew up with homemade Persian food, and this place is amazing!
My husband and son got the beef koobedieh and they loved it! So juicy and flavorful!
I got the Walnut chicken stew "fesijoon" and it was delicious! It's really hard to find a good one as many places make it too oily. This was fantastic!
Prices are what they should be with what you get, so didn't seem too steap.
Had a great time and will be back for sure!

We read the reviews and we thought it could be a good restaurant but exactly opposite
- tables were dusty and when we asked to clean the tables instead of apology they told we clean the tables but you need to eat fast before tables get dusty again !! What?!
- waiter came with a tablet to get our order but I dont think if he even used the tablet.. he came again and asked about our orders... they forgot our orders!
-we asked for kebab and rice but they serve cold rice and kebab !!! Who does that?! Foods were cold ! Really ? Then they charge 19.99 for a cold koobideh kebab

So we were feeling adventurous tonight and decided to give Grill House Cafe a try. We've never been to this particular restaurant but had eaten at another restaurant in the same shopping center. It's a bit hidden!
I'm not sure what I was expecting but when I walked in I was surprised at how nice it was inside. They have some really interesting and beautiful art and the dining room is nicely laid out. They had very relaxing music playing in the background.
We are vegetarian and that's one of the things that drew us to this place. Though they have many meat dishes they also have a vegetarian section

This is a very lovely Persian restaurant located in the little India area of San Diego. The food is remarkable and better than a lot of the stuff that I've had in central San Diego. The best part about it is the a little outdoor dining area this created which has heating built in! It's really comfortable and it should definitely worth a try for dinner during these times.

My daughter took me to this spot once... and now when we are anywhere near it, we stop by and pick up more food. I love the cherry rice with ground beef and chicken kabobs with butter melting all over my rice... omg, soooooo good!! Mmmm

Today we got for some errands after a few more weeks of being isolated. 26 weeks so far, but who's counting?
After shopping in on Miramar road we decided to have Persian food. We have been here a few times, so decided to leave a review. We absolutely love the food and they have always provided the best customer service!
Everything is clean and Covid-19 compliant. There are only 7 tables, but we didn't have a wait and the owner served us.
We started out with a garden salad and then we chose our entree. Dessert was unique, fresh and sweet and the tea was extra hot.

Very clean and nicely appointed restaurant. Nikki was very attentive and efficient waitress and took our orders within minutes of arrival. The food was as good as it looks, but the chicken was just a bit over cooked and dry. Great seasonings, though, and the rice was excellent with just the right amount of saffron to make it flavorful, but not overpowering.
Nice restaurant, great food, and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit if you’re hungry and in the area.
