CJ is an excellent coach and movement therapist; I am glad we started working on my neck and shoulder earlier in the injury, that made my recovery faster. I truly enjoy all the coaches. I have worked the most with Kaleena and I value the way she pushes me to my limits and keeps me wanting more. She is informative, energetic, encouraging, and a great communicator!
Gymnazo started as a childhood dream. Growing up, Michael loved sports and strength training in high school, but was always curious about how to learn to fix injuries and help people get back to what they love. He moved to Fresno State to study Kinesiology. Desiring to live in a coastal community, he graduated college, packed up his room and moved to SLO weeks later.
To provide a transformational fitness model for each individual member that encourages total well being and deepens the respect for the God-given gift of movement. Mitch does a fantastic job! I've had problems for years with my shoulders and he does a release technique and stretching with me that's helped me more than physical therapy, massage, and doctors.

Gymnazo is amazing but isn't for everyone. It is for the dedicated athlete looking to improve their health holistically and focus on movement to increase their strength and physical activity.

Gymnazo is the best—the best instructors, the best theory, the best environment, the best facility. Everyone who's there wants to be, and that makes all the difference. I've never felt better than I do after attending for a few months.

When I first came in to Gynmazo to register to use the infrared sauna, Karen was not only friendly and helpful, but put me completely at ease in a situation that was for me, uncomfortable. Since I have started using the sauna, I am very impressed by the ease of use, from booking the times to arriving and ending my sessions. The actual sauna itself is beautiful, relaxing and leaves me feeling very safe during our odd COVID times, because it feels very clean. Thank you for the opportunity.

I felt very welcome and supported from day one. Every staff member made it a point to introduce themselves and make me feel included. No matter what your skill level is, the trainers will modify the exercises to cater to your own individual abilities. Workouts are motivating and challenging, yet fun.

This is my favorite place to be! My instinct is to rattle on and on about how amazing Gymnazo is but really you just need to try it. If you are aiming for overall health and well being this is your place. If you have pain that won't go away, they will help you get rid of it for good. If you want to walk into a gym with smiling happy people where everyone knows your name then go right now! It's the best community, with the most knowledgeable coaches who are genuinely invested in your health and success.

I did the MDMC course and Michael gifted me this virtual workout so I can see how you do things. The workout was great, I felt my whole body got moving in every possible dimension! And, the staff and coach were so welcoming; it's really obvious you have a great team and community. I really enjoyed myself and will tell my friends about you!

Gymnazo is always evolving and innovative to serve the fitness needs of their members. The workouts are varied and promote overall health. The coaches and staff are genuine and helpful. They work with each individual's fitness level, advancing it over time. Gymnazo saved my sanity during the Stay at Home order. The owners and coaches put in extra effort and recorded new content for on demand use and utilized technology to coach classes remotely. I didn't miss a week of working out and enjoyed the community created with coffee talks or evening socials using technology. Members are

Kaleena Ruskin is an amazing coach! Her virtual pelvic core class was tough but she kept it fun and light hearted the whole time! Even with me being 7 months pregnant she was able to push me just enough and help with my form on each exercise even through a computer !

Can't wait for the next class!!

If I could choose a score higher than 10/10 I would. The amount of encouragement, knowledge, and enthusiasm every single Gymnazo Coach brings to each workout is incredible. My mood is always boosted after a workout and the sense of community among the other athletes and Coaches is unbeatable! I'm so thankful for all the many ways Gymnazo has positively impacted my life. I love working out to improve my body's functional movement inside and outside of the gym!

I found Gymanzo after incurring a serious physical injury and cannot express enough how LUCKY I was to get connected to them. I broke my L1 vertebrae in a rock climbing accident about two years ago and had to have surgery resulting in a fusion from my L3 - T12. I almost lost my ability to walk and was in an upper body cast for several months. During this time, I experienced huge losses to my mobility and strength; and, since then I have had to learn how to deal with chronic lower back pain. Throughout my recovery, it has been difficult for me to find trainers or coaches who were willing to help

After working out at Gymnazo for a couple of years we moved to North County. I tried another gym up there that was similar to Gymnazo but they didn't warm up before working out and barely stretched out after workouts. My body didn't respond to the work outs as well. I really missed the idea that you need to work out the way you live and move. Especially as your body ages you need a gym like Gymnazo that is in tune with your needs. I am thrilled to be back. I missed the workouts, the trainers and the other gym members.

My bestie talked me into taking a class with her here at Gymnazo. I try anything once. Well, most everything.
We are walking in and she knows everyone! That sort of freaked me out because that probably means they all do this all of the time! I walk up to the front desk and am greeted by my first name. Ok, already impressed. Feeling like a VIP...lol.
This place is clean! Can't say that about too many gyms these days. Also, everyone was friendly, both the employees as well as members. We did a cardio class. Started up with some warm up stretching and a run outside to the fire hydrant. Instructor

My fiance and I came in for a trial class to check things out.
The place is a bit tough to find, down past SLO Brew Rock set back off the street. Once there the inside is huge, we didn't get a tour but my fiance went back a second time and said they have a massive locker room which is cool.

The guys working there were really nice and we were told about how to session would work and jumped right in. The class had about 12 people in it.

We went through some good functional stretches and had fun getting to hear from each person while doing it.

We got a lot of instruction, and most of it

It was threatening rain (thank you rain gods!!!) and we were invited by our kids to the grandkids' birthday party at Gymnazo. Double boys with double the energy! Having attended the last birthday party in the rain while wearing my Supergirl outfit, I looked forward to this piece of ingenious home planning. Gymnazo was a bit hard to find, down Aerovista Drive then kind of behind the new SLO Brew, which is totally redone and trendy and I look forward to reviewing another day!
We weaseled our way in, and discovered a throng of ecstatic 3-9 year olds running, bouncing, wiggling, balancing

I have never been a workout/gym person. I thought hiking and enjoying the outdoors was exercise enough. However, since I work on my feet my back and muscles started to feel older than I thought they should for my age. I tried a couple yoga studios but quickly got bored and my aches didn't subside. After some research I decided to give Gymnazo a try.

2 1/2 years later I'm still going to Gymnazo. I go 3-5 times a week, have worked my way up to G3 (the "athlete" workouts) and sometimes even pullba double - doing both the strength and cardio workouts on the same day. My muscles
