I signed up for personal training at Athlon Fitness and could not be happier with my results! Thanks to my trainer, Taylor, I have noticed a significant difference in my strength, muscle tone and agility. I had pain from a recent fractured ankle along with sporadic lower back pain when I started training. My personalized program includes exercises to strengthen my ankle and back which are both remarkably better in just a few months! The owner, Ryan, has created a unique, scientific approach to working out that works for everyone.

My wife and I are in our early 40's and have been going to Athlon for just over a year, working with several personal trainers over that span. We decided on Athlon because we wanted to support an honest local business during the pandemic while we got rid of our "desk bodies." Courtney has been our trainer for most of that time and we both think he's been excellent at really dialing in the improvements we've wanted to see while always making sure we're nailing it. That said every trainer we've witnessed at Athlon had been outstanding.

I went to Athlon to just regain strength and balance. What I received was that and so much more . Cortney has taken the time and interest to understand what my perceived limits were. With years of not taking care of myself I believed I could not do ever do "that".. Cortney has found the best way to reach me and over the past 5 mos. I have strengthen not only my body but proved to myself that I am worth the work.. He knows I will roll my eyes at the new movement he wants me to try... But does it with so much kindness and support... I just do it.. I NOW look forward to each day we work together.

Let’s start with how I love circus arts: silks, straps, trapeze and juggling challenge and are simply super fun. When I found myself without coaching I started training at Athlon with Taylor and am delighted with the results. I’m doing my first pull-ups without a spot, have stronger hip flexors without them being cranky, can taste a handstand and back bend and feel all around stronger. I gave Taylor my goals and she gave me a program that works. Athlon really knows what they’re doing.

I was having back and neck pain and PT wasn’t working. I’d been a member at Athlon in the past and knew they could help me. I set up an appointment with Ryan the owner and he placed me with Oak, (Octavio Guerrero) as my trainer. What a huge difference working with Oak has been. He’s very knowledgeable in Kinesiology and using the right techniques, exercises and stretches to achieve better physical health. My mental health improved too as the pain subsided and I got back the energy I felt I lost.

Initial intake with Ryan was solid. I appreciated the thoroughness of the onboarding process and Ryan's ability/willingness to answer questions. Working with Taylor has been very good. She's put together workouts to target my goals, has been great about answering my questions about various exercises/drills, and definitely encourages me to push harder than I would on my own.

I trained with Taylor this past summer and she was AWESOME!! She has a lot of knowledge in regards to fitness and health. She was able to quickly brainstorm other workout routines if other ones did not work for me. Though she is fairly new to Athlon, she has wonderful co-workers, and a boss, who are able to guide her in the direction to succeed. Besides being a trainer, Taylor is very personable and has an outgoing personality. She made workouts challenging yet fun!
