Dr. Hutchens and staff are dedicated to providing you with a pleasant visit and results that you're proud to show off. Our administrative staff is ready to help you with questions about scheduling, financial policy and insurance, to make that part of the process as simple as possible. We want to help you now, and will try our best to schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
Your initial appointment usually will consist of a comprehensive examination and X-rays to plan treatment specifically for you. A complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day. If you have dental insurance please bring your photo I.D., insurance card and information.
Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting.
For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at 540-337-2400. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
Dr. James F. Hutchens will make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. We accept most dental insurance and file insurance claims as a courtesy to you.

I have been a patient of Long ridge for a long time now 15 plus years or so. Dr Hutchens changed my entire view of dentistry. I had a horrible experience as a child and it made my dental visits terrible I never could find one that made my experience a positive one until I found Dr Hutchens. The thought of him retiring made me sick thinking that I would have to start over. He picked a good one with Dr Mabe she is amazing the entire staff at this practice is so nice and helpful. Thank you to everyone of you that works at this office changing my views of dentists.

I have been with Long Ridge Dentistry for 5 years now. I recommend it to my family and friends. The staff there are so kind, friendly, sensitive to my routine and emergency dentistry needs. I was with my previous dentist over 20 years, drove 80 mile round trip, and liked him so well. I finally decided to find a dentist locally here in Stuarts Draft and do not regret it. Had not been to the dentist in over 8 years when I started doing here a year ago and I’ve had nothing but an exceptional experience. I’ve had wisdom teeth removed and two fillings done, both were easy and painless. Staff was always able to help me talk through options within the limits of my insurance. Dr. Mabe does great work and has also gone to great lengths to explain/show what she is doing when I came in which helped a lot! Overall fantastic place and will continue there as long as I stay in the valley!

Long Ridge Dentistry is great Very friendly staff who know you by name. Dr Mabe has been a great addition to the existing team. The introduction of new technology is much welcomed in delivering high quality dental care. Very easy to work with and always willing to answer questions and find an appt. that works for you. I feel very comfortable and satisfied receiving treatment there. Very professional and knowledgeable staff!!!

If you have to go to a Dentist this is the place. Making an appointment was easy. The staff sent you reminders. Paperwork that needed completion was done online. The check in procedure, flawless. Once you arrived inside the service was even better. Everything explained, staff was friendly and professional.
